“The unit is just okay, needs updating!”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2017

The unit is close to bus stop which is a positive but it really needs updating. Beds are poor, pillows poor, cookware in kitchen really bad, stove burners are warped, no ice maker in fridge, only one humidifier for two bedrooms and that needs a new filter desperately. So as you can see we were not impressed. Vail of course is gorgeous and the skiing was great and really loved Beaver Creek!

“it was an average or ok experience”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2014

it was an alright place to stay. bus service was close. we were not real happy with the icy steps and walk way to the vehicle parking. i was able to clear some on the second day with some warmer weather. we also could not find any towels of any kind for the kitchen area.? otherwise the accommedations were ok and if i found better pricing on the unit I would be happy to stay there again..

“Some good, some disappointing”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

Heat, entertainment system, and dishwasher were great. Rooms were extremely small. 2nd bedroom did not have enough room to get around bed. Washer was terrible. And there was no where near enough hot water for showers, dishwasher, and clothes washer. Price was good, especially for the holiday season.

“Just good enough”

Reviewed 15 Mar 2013

I did not expect the Ritz Carlton, as this was a fairly low-priced condo. But I guess I expected a little more than what we got. This place feels exactly like staying in your widowed, senior-citizen aunt's apartment. The furnishings are dated and rather random. The dishes and utensils are mismatched. The sheets, bedding and towels all feel like they were bought on clearance at Wal-Mart a few years ago. Worst of all, the place just smells and feels a little bit musty and dusty. Although we opened the windows to air it out, my family still woke up every morning with stuffy heads and scratchy throats.

“Wonderful Condominium -- best we have ever stayed in.”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2010

We have been coming to Vail for 30 years and this was the best condominium experience we have had. Large 2 bedrooms with all new furniture, well stocked kitchen, and all the amenities. The shuttle bus was always waiting for us, and we actually found it easier than some of the slope-side places we have stayed in. Our only problem was that we arrived very late (2am) due to thte Vail Pass being closed, and we had trouble getting in and finding our unit -- the instructions received in an email were not accurate.

“We were disappointed.”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2010

We were disappointed in the size, quality of the furnishings and lack of updating. It was painfully obvious that this condo is furnished as inexpensively as possible and has not been updated at all. The Sandstone area has no amenities such as a pool and or hot tub. This area seems to cater to young college and 20s as evidenced by the renters in the condos around us.

“Lovely walk to slopes”

Reviewed 18 Feb 2010

The condo was situated about 1/2 mile from Lionshead Gondola. We walked across the pedestrian bridge and the entire walk was 10 - 15 minutes. This saved us time waiting for a bus. The condo had everything as described in words and pictures. Parking was directly in front. It was very comfortable with a full kitchen and TVs in the living room and bedroom.

“Good place, very little hassle.”

Reviewed 4 Feb 2009

This place worked out well. Bus stop en route to Vail Village is close by, its on the ground level. Kitchen has all the necessities (dishwasher, in-sink garbage disposal) small backyard porch with a nice grill. Master bedroom is very comfortable and the full bathroom is very nice (aside from the window in the shower, but that's more of an issue the owner will have to deal with.) Living room is comfortable, TV has several channels and the dining table expands out very easily. The only complaint I have is with space to store and remove ski/snowboard gear after you come in from a day on the slopes.

“Destination Relaxation”

Reviewed 15 Dec 2008

Condo was clean and comfortable. Only recommendations I have for management would be to supply more than 2 large towels for bathing and to fix the slow draining tub. Even so, our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend this property.
