“Location Location Location”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2016

Location cant get any better. Right in the middle of Vail Village. No view to speak of but if budget is key this place is perfect. The loft space with bed has pretty steep ladder/stair access so might not be for those with limited mobility.

“Really nice condo with great fireplace and kitchen”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2014

It was a pleasure to stay here and we loved how big the lounge dining area was - plenty of room to enjoy lounging around after a day on the slopes. The condo is positioned perfectly in the heart of Vail Village. A couple of minutes walk to the gondola. Looking forward to staying here again.

“Nice apartment”

Reviewed 23 Jan 2014

We liked apartment, but there was no privacy on second floor, stairs are uncomfortable. Do not expect for elevator, you will have to carry all luggage trough stairs.

“Vail Core Condo # 11”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2013

Cons: The condo has an unusual upper level, which is, probably, considered a bedroom. The problem was that it had a set of steps like a ladder used for the attic. This ladder made it dangerous and difficult to climb down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I recommend to the owners to make a modification to this stairs. Maybe, installing spiral stairs will work better. It was also hot upstais and even with only one working upper window opened and two fans, we could not cool down the upper level to sleep comfortably. We slept the first night upstairs and then slept on Murphy bed on the main level, which was fine. Pros: The kitchen had a full size refrigirator and plenty of utensils that we needed to make breakfact and quick lunches. We liked the fact that we did not have to use the key and just needed to enter code. The place was relatively inexpensive. We liked the location of the condo. It is centrally located in Vail, close to the parking garage and the main promenade. We participated in Vail International Dance Festival, which was held at the location less than 100 feet from the entrance to the condo. Also, riding our bikes around Vail and going on bike path searhing for wild mushrroms was fun.

“disappointed”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2013

the unit was smaller than appeared in picture, but more importantly in poor condition. Two dining chairs were broken and unusuable. Only one sofa for a unit that slept 4+ persons. The floor lamp shade was burnt and falling apart and the only lamp in unit. All furnishing were outdated and of poor quality. The loft was very difficult to access and impossible to bring large luggage up to. Need I say, I would never stay again or recommend to anyone.

“Good location”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2011

We found the condo a very good location, however, the decor was dated and bland. Furnishings were not very good quality and some building materials had been left under the bed and closets in the loft were unfinished. Stairs to the loft bedroom were too steep and could pose a hazard in the middle of the night or when trying to carry items upstairs; there is scope for these to be adjusted. Property would greatly benefit from a "makeover". A small financial input could greatly improve it's appeal.

“Condo above Pazzo's Pizza”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2011

Overall, it was convenient, easy to go to and fine for our ski trip. My only comment was that one of the additional blankets in the closet had a blood stain on it, so apparently the laundering of the blankets is in question.

“Very nice and well situated studio!”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2010

Everything was in order when we arrived. The studio is very nice and clean. Lots of sleeping area. The location is great!!..Lots of stairs though..no elevator to get the luggage or groceries..and the stairs to get to the upper dorm are very steep. But all in all I would stay there again. Thanks!!

“More than I expected”

Reviewed 1 Apr 2010

The unit was very comfortable and very well appointed for a rental property. I was very happy w/ the location and was much closer to Vail Village than I expected and the bus was certainly close Overlooking the 4 Seasons construction was not particularly a plus.

“great location”

Reviewed 1 Mar 2010

Our group had stayed at another Vail Core Condo in the past and therefore had certain expectations. This unit was not as nice as the prior one, so it was a little disappointing, but overall it was a nice unit with a great location. There was not a washer and dryer as we thought. We did not love walking up the stairs to the units with luggage or after a day on the slopes (but that is an accepatable sacrifice for the location).
