“Fabulous Condo in Perfect Location”
My husband and I met our 3 adult children (ages 20,22,24) in Vail for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The condo is newly renovated and very nice. It has every amenity we could want, along with a fireplace. Such a perfect setting for our family getaway.
“Spacious, well appointed condo in a great location.”
Great condo for a family ski vacation. The condo was very spacious and clean. We were on the In Town bus route and the very close to the main transportation centre for other local bus service. We were right in Vail Village within walking distance of Gondola One, restaurants and shops.
Clean, convenient, everything was great. Management was fast to respond and rectify the couple of very minor issues we had during our stay. Definitely would recommend this place.
“A lot of money”
I realize I traveled at the most expensive time of year but...I paid a fortune for the condo and had to pay for 7 nights despite only staying 6 It's a nice place but the building is creepy. Too many different combinations to remember for the multitude of door licks, elevators Kitchen was new and well stocked Bedrooms were antiquated and sterile The hot tub and sauna are not at all convenient to get to. Using a hot tub after skiing was a must. I didn't realize how far it was It's not advertised as a ski in/out and while you can walk, it's not that close I realize vail is super expensive but I expected a more modern convenient place for the price
Response from the manager Allan, Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to respond to your points: 1) The 7-night minimum stay is standard for New Year's week only. We did reserve all 7 nights for you. It was your choice not to use all 7. 2) We agree that there are too many codes to remember, for different doors and the elevator. However, it is a choice made by the building homeowners, and we try to make it easier for you by including all the necessary codes on your check-in email. 3) Thank you for complimenting the kitchen. But we are not sure what you mean about the bedrooms being antiquated. All the furniture and TVs are new. What else is there in a bedroom? Perhaps you are referring to the closet doors? 4) The outdoor pool and hot tubs are next door at the Sebastian Hotel. However, the brand new indoor hot tub and sauna are very close. Just go to the elevator 15 feet from your condo door, go down one floor, and across the hall. That's about 25 feet of walking. 5) The Village Inn Plaza building is located about 3 blocks from the new Gondola One in Vail Village. We make this clear in the description, and we provide a map on our website for you. “Great place in the heart of Vail village!”
This place had a lot of open entertaining space that was perfect for our group, the large living/dining area meant we could all sit around comfortably after a day on the slopes. We mainly chose this property due to location and the fact it had three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The spa (Hot Tub, Steam and Sauna) are brand new and excellent after a days snowboarding however the sauna did not work after the first day not that this affected our enjoyment.
“dated condo in a great location”
Overall, the condo suited our needs well, but the kitchen it is straight from the 1980s with white formica. Location was very good steps from the Vail Village skating rink. Fireplace did not work, and after an inquiry to the management company, I never heard back. Carpet and tile have been upgraded, but that's about it. It certainly was clean. Washer and dryer included which was nice. But the place definitely did not have that lodge feel I was looking for, but 3/3s were scarce when we booked. We paid about $3,200 for four nights. I thought it was a bit pricey for what was there.
“Great stay!!! Perfect location. Steps from solaris center, shops”
Great location! Our whole family enjoyed this rental with close accessibility to the solaris center and the rest of the village! Nice, clean and roomy enough for the whole family, with individual bathrooms, you really can't beat it and we felt lucky to find this little gem. The mgmt company is not invasive, but available if needed, I really can't complain about any aspect of our stay. Plus, the pool at the sebastian, available to guests, was really nice. The one recommendation I would leave for future guests, would be to make sure your car can fit in the underground parking garage which has a pretty low clearance because if you have to park down the road in public parking, not only is it inconvenient but pricey!
“Fun in Vail”
Being close to the village is always a pleasure, no parking hassles, pick your restaurant, good nightlife, etc... Only downside is the proximity to I-70, if road noise bothers you, this isn't for you.
“Nice condo, check in aweful”
This is a nice spacious condo located in Vail Village but next to the highway. Check in was totally confusing though, with the rental agent and the person who showed up at the condo when we arrived not knowing where to stow your skis, what exits to use from the building, what pool / hot tub we were supposed to use. etc. Also, there are many steps to walk up when entering the building, so it is not for the feint of heart. It is not really walkable to the slopes. Best is to take the bus which is at the foot of the steps, to Lionshead or Golden Peak.
