“A fine place to stay as a base for day trips.”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2017

The studio apartment was comfortable and very convenient to everything in Reykjavik. Having the kitchen was a huge benefit, as we cooked a number of breakfasts before heading out on day trips. The parking was a bit tight, but manageable. There is a lot of construction happening in the city, but the noise level was acceptable. The Internet access was very good, but make sure you can use a wired network, as there is no wireless router. But then, you can got almost anywhere in the city and find free wireless. Sveinn ans Stella were wonderful hosts

“Delightful apartment, clean and in a perfect location.”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2016

My daughter and I stayed here as our home base while we explored around Iceland. It was a wonderful location to come home in the evening and be able to either cook food or walk to great restaurant in town. Just two blocks from a wonderful coffee shop with free wifi. The apartment was clean and Sveinn was a very nice host.

Response from the owner Hi and thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and for staying in our Cozy Studio. I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again someday. It was a pleasure having you in Cozy and I truly enjoyed our talks. Warm regards, Sveinn

“Great location”

The flat is right in the heart of the city, very confortable, ideal for spending a week in Iceland where you will be most of the time out, sightseeing and enjoying the country. Sveinn was very friendly and helped us to make our stay nice and enjoyable. We recommend this apartment!!!

“Cozy apartment and exellent landlord.”

Reviewed 17 Dec 2010

This was my second stay in Cozy apartment. Last year I and two friends stayed for three nights, this year we stayed for nine. The Cozy Studio apartment is a great little home away from in downtown Reykjavik, located just two minutes walk from the town square. The apartment offers everything you need including a washer and dryer, internet access, a small kitchen with a refrigerator and water heater. On top of everything, the landlord Sveinn is your best friend in Reykjavik. He knows all the restaurants, bars, hot spring swimming pools and sights worth seeing and knows what is going on in terms of movies, concerts and other events in town. We also took a day trip in Sveinn's own super jeep to Ejafjallaj?kull, ??rsm?rk and surrounding areas. Sveinn is a wonderful guide and brought us a lovely lunch with smoked lamb sandwiches, skyr and beverages. I highly recommend a stay in Cozy Studio apartments.

“Fantastic”

Svienn and Stella are great very helpfull and friendly, location is perfect, literally 2 minutes walk from all shops, bars and Harbour but amazingly quiet. Cozy apartments is just what you need from self catering although a grill/microwave would be helpfull for a quiet night in, cannot beat the amazing price, we were on our honeymoon so this helped alot will definatly be back.

“A great stay in Iceland in a great location!”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2010

We stayed at cozy studio for 3 nights recently during a short break to Iceland. Before we arrived Sveinn was extremley helpful not only with arrangements concerning our booking but just general hints and tips to help us during our stay. The apartment was like its name very cozy and warm. Clean and comfortable and in a great location for the capital's centre without being noisy. We loved Iceland and were very happy to be staying in such lovely place

“Home away from home”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2010

The name says it all...cosy. It was like having a home rather than an hotel room. You can't beat the location or the value. The host really made us feel welcomed.

“Perfect location!”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2010

We stayed at Cozy for 4 nights with my husband and my sister, and loved it! The location can not be beaten - right in the heart of Reykjavik, and yet in a quiet and private courtyard. Whale-watching, clubbing or any other Reykjavik attractions are all within walking distance, minutes away from Cozy. The place itself was very comfy, clean, modern, and actually quite large. We didn't cook - there was no need to - there are plenty of fantastic eateries only a block or two away. There is parking in the courtyard.

“Great place and location - owner was very helpful with our visit”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2010

We had a great stay in Reykjavik and we would stay in this unit again. It was perfect for 3 people. The place was nice and very convenient. It is about 2 minutes walk from the centre square. There are good blinds on the windows so you can sleep in the endless sun environment. It was very clean. Sveinn was helpful providing is with ideas and a map of what to see in Reykjavik and Iceland. He also runs an offroad tour company. My wife went on one of his trips to Landmannalaugar and Hekla. She enjoyed that very much.

“Satisfactory and centrally”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2010

We had a wonderful stay in Iceland. The apartment met our needs and was very centrally located in reykjavik. The landlord was very pleasant and extremely helpful, he was really an experience what sightseeing tours concerned.
