“The most Spectacular View of Downtown Toronto”

Reviewed 21 Mar 2014

I arrived at the apartment much later than expected, close to 11pm, it was snowing pretty heavy but Jerome was there patiently waiting. He and Kiran were absolutely amazing hosts. They always made themselves available when needed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for the 3 months that I stayed there. The most amazing part of my stay was the view from the living room...I can't say enough about this. Watching the sunset and then seeing the night lights downtown was beautiful. It was only a 10-15 min walk to Dundas Square which has a movie theater many restaurants and a mall. The grocery store was only a block away from the apt which was extremely convenient for my long stay. My husband stayed there for 7 weeks and used the gym, he said the facility was great and he was satisfied. The concierge was always helpful and answered all my questions about the area. I would definitely stay here if I am in the Toronto area again. I highly recommend it.

“Wonderful two week stay”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

We rented this condo (and their other rental property) for a group of ten international artists to stay for two weeks, and we loved it! Places were clean, bright and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, lots of bathrooms (important considering there were so many people staying there for a long period of time), plenty of storage space, comfortable beds and even laundry facilities in the units. Location was great for public transit and parking. Both units had lovely balconies and the condo had an absolutely stunning view! Jerome and Kiran were very kind, accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Would definitely recommend!

“Wonderful accomodations!”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2014

We stayed at the Penthouse Suite for 5 days with our 3 small children. The condo was great and worked out very well for us. Jerome was great to deal with and was very friendly, accommodating, and courteous. The view from the condo is great with a full daytime / nighttime view of the city. It is walking distance from a lot of the major areas too, weather permitting as it snowed a lot while we were there. The street cars go right by the front of the building so it was no problem to hop on them to get into the middle of downtown. There are a lot of amenities around the area that are walking distance, such as a grocery store, restaurants, etc. I would give the Penthouse a 10/10 and would recommend this condo and Jerome for any future travels and travellers.

“Amazing views”

Amazing apartment, amazing views with good transportation connections. Jerome is very accommodating and easy to work with. All in all, the apartment made for a great trip!

“well thought out and surprising view”

Reviewed 15 Oct 2013

Jerome's apartment was something that a hotel could never offer - accommodation that felt like a home away from home. From the second you walk in you'd be impressed by how modern, new and clean everything is. Jerome's attention to detail is amazing and to us international guests, extremely helpful. Wireless internet is provided but what was most helpful was a working cellular phone. This was a life-saver! The place has an amazing view of the city - one that you wouldn't even get in the CN Tower (as you can't see the CN tower from inside the CN Tower) The apartment was beautifully furnished and decorated. Carpark access was easy and the place felt secure. The only complaint would be the slow elevators - as we were on the top floor it would sometimes take up to 5 min to reach the carpark. But what a trade-off to have that amazing view! Thanks Jerome

“What a view!”

With floor to ceiling windows the view over Toronto was wonderful particularly at night it was superb. The facilities were good and the condo was well equipped. There were four of us staying in the three bedrooms and there was plenty of room in the condo. However the area of Regents Park whilst undergoing regeneration is still rough and I would not have gone out at night. We used taxis to get up to Dundas Square rather than walk at night. Our family who live in Toronto call the area "the hood" and would not drive through at night. Only because of the area we would not return however cannot fault anything once in the condo. The aircon was not very good but it was a seasonally abnormal 27 degrees, but the owners said it had been turned to winter settings for the seasonal norm which is understandable. A lovely condo, with spectacular views...just in the wrong area. Dundas Square is a 20 minute walk, CN tower is 50 minutes and the lake is 20 minutes.

Response from the owner Thank you for the feedback. The view is truly spectacular from the condo and we're glad you enjoyed it. The area is under-going a revitalization effort that will make it one of downtown Toronto's most desirable neighbourhoods. The construction does not cause any disturbance from way up on the penthouse floor. The conveniences of having a grocery store and public transportation just outside the door along with the downtown location, far outweigh the drawbacks. We live very close to the condo with our one-year-old son (within a 10 minute walk) and also own a 4 bedroom townhouse nearby and we haven't had any issues with regards to safety/security. We understand that not everyone is familiar with the diversity of the people that one encounters in downtown neighbourhoods. Everyone has their own comfort level with regards to their personal security however we have not had any reason to fear the area's residents. I sincerely believe that if you had actually walked outside (even at night) you would agree. You'll note from the other reviews that the location is one of the key benefits that is cited. We have had the penthouse condo for less than a year so please feel to take a look at the reviews for our 4 bedroom townhouse which is located very closeby, for additional information and opinions regarding the area, http://www.flipkey.com/toronto-vacation-rentals/p255346/#pdp-reviews. Since walking speeds can vary (average is 5km/hr), for future guests benefit, I'd like to point out that Dundas square is 1.5 km from the condo, the Distillery District is 1.3 km away and the CN tower is 3.3 km.

“A Summer Dream in Toronto!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

The apartment provided a terrific skyline vista, encapsulating all that Toronto has to offer. From the waterfront to the impressive downtown. It is close to all amenities and very easy to navigate the city from the property. The apartment was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Justin Klein/Brittany Cazes The penthouse was beautiful, great location and very convenient. A nice way to see Toronto from the view it has. Would definitely stay there over a hotel! Kelsey Klein/Sean Pyrah Thank you Jerome and Kiran for sharing your property with us! It was in a perfect location and had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay right in the heart of everything. We stayed there with our two young adult children and their partners and there was plenty of space, and the two bathrooms definitely came in handy. Jerome was so very kind and a pleasure to work with, he was only a quick text away if we had any questions. This apartment made our stay in Toronto unforgettable and we will definitely be coming back if only for the amazing sunsets on the thriving metropolis of Toronto! Sincerely John and Kathy Klein

“Great time in Toronto!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

A couple friends and I had the pleasure of renting Jerome's penthouse near downtown Toronto and had a great time. The apartment was spotless and very well appointed. We especially enjoyed the living room with all the windows so you could enjoy the sunlight and amazing views of the city. The middle bedroom was a bit smaller than anticipated and located in the hallway which wasn't expected. With that being said, Jerome and his wife were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They offered many suggestions on things to do/see and even put us in contact with someone helped us plan all our social outings.

“Clean, Modern & Convenient, In Up and Coming area”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2013

Stayed here with a group of friends this past week. Overall the place was great and Jerome was a very kind and accommodating host. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the building is brand new, as are the furnishings in the condo. Parking is included if you have a car. There is a street car station just outside and it is about 10-15 min to the entertainment district. There are also 2 Bixi Bike Rental stations within 4 blocks of the place (one 2 blocks over by the grocery store and another just beyond that). I would recommend doing a bike rental- it is a lovely way to see the city and very convenient, easy, and cheap. Just go to the automated machine, pop in a credit card, and away you go. At night you can bike from one end of the city to the other in about 25 minutes. I am not someone that bikes on a regular basis and found it quite enjoyable. One note is that one of the bedrooms with a queen bed- it's more of a den area. It is off the kitchen and is partitioned by sliding doors. If you are traveling with 2 couples (as we were) you might opt for something with a bit more privacy. This is clearly shown in the pictures though so really it is our fault for not noticing. This would be a perfect room for children, or a single person however, so it would just depend on your group composition. Our thanks to Jerome for a great stay!
