Description

This home was newly renovated in 2010. This ranch style, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is well appointed with vintage, antique furniture and glassware, yet has all the modern conveniences. Custom maple cabinets, granite counter tops, and new appliances give the kitchen it's clean & modern look. Red Oak custom cabinets in the master bath/sitting area gives a rich, warmth & comfortable feeling. It's backyard contains flower gardens, a sitting area and a creek that separates it from Baylor's, Floyd Casey Stadium. A large pecan tree graces the front yard in which Cardinals, Doves, Blue Jays and other birds come to feed. The front garden adds charm, warmth and a country feel to the property. Centrally located off of Valley Mills drive, restaurants, theaters and entertainment are all just minutes away. Just down the block is Baylor's Track and Field complex, at the other end of the block is a newly formed park for Floyd Casey Stadium. Come and enjoy this restful spot in the heart of Waco.

Because of it's location, The Haley House, serves Baylor University sporting events, Parents Weekend and Baylor's Track and Field events easily. Located just off of Valley Mills Drive, The Heart of Texas Coliseum, Cameron Park & Zoo, Bosque River Stage as well as many local eating and entrainment places , are just minutes from our front door, putting us in the center of all the action. This makes The Haley House a perfect vacation rental for you and your family.

Getting around

I highly recommend a car. Waco does have public transportation, but many of the sights you would like to take in are not necessarily in Waco proper. Driving through Cameron Park is a great thing to do. Visiting Homestead Heritage in Elm Mott is always a highlight of our guests. Our home is not far from any of these venues, and Valley Mills Drive is a main drag for eating and shopping

Once we have recieved your request we will send out a lease, please read, initial, sign and either send back via Emailing PDF or Word document. As soon as your lease is returned your reservation will be considered confirmed. We will send you a receipt of each payment and once the last payment is processed we will send the final paperwork, with your key code, and give you all the details you need to make your stay go smoothly. Though John and I live in Alaska, we have a very dependable cleaning and management service that takes care of our home and we will give you all contact information for contacting them if needed, as well as our personal cells and email.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Kathleen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
