“Great 4th Experience”
We rented this unit for the July 4th 2010 weekend. Although it rained all weekend, we still had a fabulous time given the proximity to the beach and to John's Pass. The unit itself was exceptional with plenty of room for everyone - it was very comfortable anddecorated nicely. We tried renting the same weekend in 2011 but the unit was already rented to another party.
“We love staying at Surf Song!”
We have been staying at the Surf Song since our daughter was 6 or 7, and she is now 17. Surf Song is always clean, comfortable, and family oriented. The employees are great, and we love the beach. We will continue our week or two there every summer!
“Spring Break 2009”
We just returned from a week long stay on the beach. The weather was great, a little windy for a couple of days but the waves were beautiful. Had a great time watching the dolphins, jet ski's, parasailers right off of the balcony. The people that work at Surf Song were great work with. We liked our unit very much, but would prefer a direct beach view next time. Liked the fact that we didn't have to have "keys" for the elevator, pool area, etc. like a lot of other rentals do.
“Relaxing & Enjoyable Winter Vacation”
We just spent two weeks at Surf Song Condo on Madeira Beach and had the most relaxing vacation. This is our 25th year staying on Madeira Beach and maybe out 5th or 6th year at Surf Song. The people are friendly, the accommodations perfect ... the location.. You can not get better.. Right on the beach across the street from John's Pass Village. As always everything was in order when we arrived. The pictures online do not do the place justice. The property, the pool, condo & beach .etc are nicer than the pictures! I can not say enough about the staff ... friendly and courteous... They are there friendly and helpful..But always mindful of your privacy. We'd definitely recommend Surf Song. There is a full kitchen with grocery stores close by and restaurants within walking distance. We cooked the grill outside. God willing ...We'll be back next year. Enjoy!
“A great beach stay”
We spent a terrific week at the Surf Song Condo and had a wonderful time. This is the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect. It was very close to the beach, just took elevator down, walked through the pool area and there was the beach. The beach was nice and quiet, not busy at all, and we could grab chairs from Surf Song to sit on the beach. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly and gave us our key as soon as cleaning had been completed (we arrived early). We were right across the street from John's Pass, which had lots of gift shops and dining. We stayed in a two level condo, and you could enter on upper level or lower level. It's recommended you bring your luggage to the lower level when you first arrive, as it is a narrow spiral staircase you have to go down inside the unit otherwise. There were too bedrooms, both with ample room. The one kids stayed in had its own tv with satellite and 2 double beds, with dressers and closet. Plenty of room. Our room had a king size bed and its own tv as well as an adjoining bathroom. The kids used the main bathroom across from there room that was also quite spacious. The beds we all comfortable and the whole unit was spotlessly clean. Upstairs was a large living area, leather furniture, satellite tv and dvd player and a large dining area. Off the dining area was the balcony that you could see the ocean from. The kitchen was small, but had all the essentials required and it was a bonus the fridge had an ice machine, which was great during our excursions to Desoto Beach...a must see. It also had a grinder in the sink. We brought our own beach towels, and there were plenty of towels in the unit for showering. It was like a home away from home. We absolutely loved it there. The pool area was quiet and had lots of lounge chairs and shuffle board. It was heated and kids often had the pool to themselves. We would highly recommend this unit and miss it already.
“Relaxing and Nice”
The condo was really nice and plesently decorated. I liked the upstairs and down stairs aspect. This allowed the social events to continue when some wanted to sleep. The beach in this area is really nice, clean, white, and peaceful. I would not recommend this area of the beach if your looking to really party it is older and quiet. The only complaint I have in regards to the condo is the beds could use an updating. It is definately not something that would keep me from coming back though.
Nice quite place on beach
“Great place to stay we will be back”
Again we had a great time we will be back great view of the sun sets, lots to do close by with great restaurants close as well. Len
