“Great stay in cabbagetown”
We were extremely happy with this apartment. Tony & Steve were great hosts, the apartment was fully equipped and very comfortable. The location in Cabbagetown was convenient-easy access to public transport. It was only minutes to Yonge Steet but in a quiet neighbourhood. There were plenty of restaurants, coffee shops & delis close by. Would definitely stay there again.
“Perfect home base for our Toronto Holiday”
My 13 year old son and I stayed in the apartment while on holiday in Toronto. The location was perfect. We found it very easy to get around by public transit. We kept the car parked the entire time we were visiting hte city. There are plenty of resturants in the neighborhood as well as nearby grocery stores. Tony was extremely helpful, giving great advice about the nearby resturants and getting around the city. We only stayed a few days, but it was very nice to explore the city during the day and have our own space to hang out in the evenings. Although we did not cook, the kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have the option to make meals if we chose.
“Great location and nice apartment”
The apartment was clean and well stocked. Tony was an excellent host and made us feel at home. The apratment is in a great area and you can use the back garden of the house. I would thouroughly recommend staying here for anyone coming to Toronto.
“Convenient, clean, charming atmosphere”
We spent a week at Tony's lovely garden apartment in Cabbagetown. Fully equipped kitchen, phone service to us and Canada, wi-fi, books, movies and more. Cabbagetown is delightful - the apartment is within easy walking distance to restaurants, stores, grocery store and several different public transit stops - depending on where you want to go. We bought a weekly unlimited pass and explored Toronto with ease. Tony is a gracious host; we enjoyed talking to him and his friends one evening in the back garden. He has a list of favorite restaurants and stores and was more than willing to answer questions and share what was going on the week we were there. Lovely place; heartily recommended.
“Amazing space, Incredible Location, Fabulous hosts!”
We had a great time in the garden apartment. We had a flood at our place which is close to cabbage town, so we were so happy to find such a lovely and homey place close by. We were almost sad to leave when our place was ready! The space was big, bright and comfortable, we also had access to the garden. We loved 'living' in cabbage town for a few weeks, with all the cute bakeries, and restaurants and the simple convenience of being right smack in down town, while not feeling like you are in down town. Steve and Tony are simply nice and sweet hosts that are welcoming and easy. The place had two bedrooms, and well stacked kitchen with everything to cook with. The cutlery was gorgeous and the house well decorated. Also there was food in the fridge, so that we would not go hungry or run out to buy stuff as soon as we settled in. I recommend this highly, i only wish i can live there!
