“People a Watchers Delight”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2015

The is a tasteful unit on the riverfront with everything you need to enjoy your stay including linens and paper products. The view is superb! We made reservations well in advance and ate at The George Restaurant next door on the patio on our night of arrival and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. It is about a five minute walk to the Henrietta III. We have enjoyed their dinner cruises in years past and would recommend. Physically you need to be able to walk up one long flight of stairs (enclosed) to get to the unit. Parking can be tricky, but if you can snag a metered space in the late afternoon on a holiday weekend you are golden! Bring lots of singles and fives for the parking machines just in case, as they don't take credit cards. Also, if you need supplies (coffee, wine, milk, etc.). Plan to buy them before you arrive. There are no convenience stores within walking distance. We did walk to to Front Street Brewery and purchased some growlers during our stay which were excellent as well. Had a great time with the kids 11 and 14 getting ice cream and walking around. We had to walk 5 blocks to the Black Cat store to buy a deck of cards, so bring your own. A couple of board games and a deck of cards are my only recommendations to make this unit perfect!

Response from the owner Thanks for the review. Good to hear you had an enjoyable stay.

“Great Location!”

Reviewed 11 Nov 2013

Right on the Riverwalk, this location really can't be beat! The furnishings were tasteful, clean and appeared barely used. Very nice to sit on the balcony and watch the river views and the riverwalk with a glass of wine. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to enjoy the charms of historical downtown Wilmington, with everything in walking distance!

Response from the owner glad to hear you enjoyed your stay!

“Made my birthday weekend!”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2013

Finding this apartment truly made my birthday perfect. There was more than enough room to comfortably fit the guests that were attending and it was nice to be able to use the kitchen if we didn't want to go out to eat! The view is beautiful and the area was very peaceful. If we wanted to go out to eat, the condo is in perfect walking distance from downtown. This gave us access to a wide variety of bars and restaurants to take advantage of and even convenient stores if we needed anything we forgot. The parking was easy as well as the front door key pad access. This was perfect so we didn't have to keep track of keys! All in all a great stay. I highly suggest it!

Response from the owner we are glad you had fun. hope to see you again soon.
