“Great family stay at 3 Crater”
Rented 3 Crater for 3 couples attending a family wedding and the home fit perfectly for the group. The home was clean and in good order, the amenities perfect and the location nice. Village Properties staff was courteous, efficient and timely. Overall the value was unbeatable and I would definitely recommend this home. Johnson family, July 2015.

Amy and the crew at VP always go above and beyond to help.This is our 1o th year comin here and we have used VP most of those.We love the house and the kids have a blast. The bed in the master room needs to be relpaced.But other then that we love the place. Thanks

“Would come back if the hot tub worked and new beds were purchase”
Here is the kicker: The beds are not comfortable! The kind bed is worn and I couldnt sleep for both nights due to the worn slopes in the bed, one of the other couples upstairs in the queen said their bed was hard as a rock and the other couple in the other king bed upstairs said their bed was fine. The hot tub needs help! The jets don't work and it was barely warm enough to even get in. Going to Sunriver there are two requirements: working hot tub and comfy beds. This place had neither. Please get new beds and fix the hot tub!! Other than that booking with Village Properties was super easy! The living room furniture has been updated and is nice. The fireplace was cozy, tv worked great. We ordered Blondie's Pizza the first night which was good but expensive and the second night we stayed in and cooked. Overall the place is clean, could use some updates as far as carpet and overall flooring. The game room was awesome, the arcade game was a hit.

We will have them check it out. You are absolutely right - hot tubs are an intregal part of the Sunriver experience and I apologize that it wasn't woking properly. “Nice but could be better.”
We spent three nights at #3 Crater Lane. The best thing was the location, close to a bike path and not too far from the river. The house was nice but there were several things that needed attention. One minor detail was that we arrived after the change to daylight time. The clocks had not been changed in the house. Not a big deal, but sort of a hassle. The king-size bed in the master bedroom sloped down on one side. It turned out that the slats supporting the bed had come loose. I had to fix this to get a decent night's sleep, after one lousy night. The TV situation is a little misleading. There are four TVs in the house. The one in the living room was fine. The one in the foosball room only had 14 channels, not all of the available cable channels. This was disappointing to the kids. There was a third TV in one of the upstairs bedrooms that was not connected to cable or an antenna. It could not be used. The flat screen TV in the master bedroom was nice. The hot tub was a bit of a disappointment because the jets did not function properly. They only ran on the low setting. Although we came at the beginning of Spring Break, the weather was warm. It would have been nice if the deck furniture was out, instead of having to dig it out of the garage. It was a nice house but there should have been more attention paid to the details.

It is a very nice unit. However, we really thought more time could have been spent ensuring its cleanliness. The furniture was very dingy and needs shampooing, along with the carpeting. There was left over garbage from previous visitors in the hot tub area and old beer bottle caps in the livingroom area. Overall the stay was nice but for the price and the cleaning fee required, I believe it needs alot more TLC.

This is a comfy, cozy home that is perfect for a family. Location is quite and peaceful, but not too far from necessities! Foosball/game table is helpful but needs work (pieces are missing).

“We want to come back.”
We had a wonderful stay at #3 Crater Lane and plan on coming back. It had everything we needed to keep ourselves busy - games, foosball, bikes, spa, etc. It felt very private and yet was connected to everything by those wonderful bike trails. Our one complaint was that we felt misled about Mavericks. We were told we had free passes to Mavericks, that great facility with the new Flow-Rider. What we weren't told was that the Flow-Rider costs $20/person. The kids were pretty disappointed when we figured that one out and told them they weren't going after all. This should be cleared up so that other folks don't make the same mistake. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay in Sunriver.

The couple who own it have another home on our program, 48 Kinglet Lane, and they take a lot of pride in keeping them nice, so families like yours can enjoy them. I am sorry the reservationist who handled your call was not clear about the cost for the Flowrider. Mavericks is a fantastic facility with lots of activities for the whole family. The facility is open to our guests with additional charges for: the Flowrider, massages, private rock climbing lessons, and the tanning booth.
“Very relaxing after a long day of Skiing!!”
We were very comfortable overall and would consider renting this house again. The only thing I would say is that the freezer/refrigerator had a bad fish odor; it had been thoroughly cleaned but still had a bad smell.(This should be an easy fix.) Perhaps updating with some new games and having a selection of DVD's on hand would be a good idea as well. We really enjoyed using the bikes and hot tub!!

“#3 Crater Lane”
My wife and I go to Sunriver, OR. almost every year for a week. We have used Village Properties as our rental agent since 1982. We have rented various places through them and have never been disappointed. The Village Property's website allows us to view rentals before we book. The website also has a good map of Sunriver Resort attached, so a renter has a very good idea where his rental is located in the resort. We prefer the north end by the river. This last year we rented #3 Crater Lane. The area was very quiet and was near the bicycle paths. We enjoy walking, so that is a plus for us. It was a great place for us to go to "shut down" for awhile and just be together without any interuptions. As usual, we really enjoyed ouerselves.

This house had plenty of room for a family to spread out. It was an excellent location to go anywhere we wanted to explore all of the things to do at Sunriver. My only complaint was that the kitchen could use some better utensils (pots and pans and carving knives). It did not have air conditioning but had adequate fans to cool the house.
