“MS18 March 2017”
Short walk to ski out, true ski in provided enough snow. We had 6 guys and it was very comfortable. Kitchen was satisfactory, hot tub was great, and heated floors were a nice touch. Aloha was helpful throughout the process as it was our first time to Whistler.

The ski in and ski out was great. Quick walk down the hill to the slopes, and the ski in went right to the door. The condo was exactly as advertised, no surprises either way. It worked well for a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). AlohaWhistler was a great help with any questions we had. Highly recommend to others!

“Cozy ski in ski out unit in beautiful Whistler.”
We have stayed at various units in Mountain Star several times in the past. If there is enough snow, it's a true ski in/ ski out unit. This time there was not quite enough snow for the best ski in, but you can always ski in across the street and walk to unit. The unit is clean and cozy. The unit is three stories so the master is very separate from the downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen is not updated. It would be nice to have a bit nicer appliances, but they worked fine and the kitchen was well equipped to cook in. All in all, it is a very nice unit. The management company was great. I had an issue with the fire place and they fixed it immediately. I was very pleased.
“It was fantastic”
There were nine of us in this rental, and while it does sleep 9, we had to get pretty cozy. The ski in/ski out option is true, but you have to walk down the street and past the hotel to get to the run. The ski in takes you to your front door, just be prepared to a cat track with inconsistent snow. We loved the house and hot tub, in fact we rarely made it to the village because no one wanted to leave it! The house was clean and the property manager was awesome. She came by and made sure everything was alright and had answers to all of our questions. The only slight problem we had was loading and unloading our cars from the parking structure. It wasn't a long walk, but longer than you want to carry everything in. We just brought our cars in front of the property while people stood with the cars to move them if we had to, while others made the trips. We also had no place to leave our cars on Sunday after we checked out and wanted to ski, so we had to park in general Whistler/Blackcomb parking. Not horrible, but if it was a busy day, it wouldn't have been good. It was a great weekend, and we are all excited to come back next year!
“Comfortable, well equipped, easy ski in /out to Blackcombe”
Unit is well cleaned and maintained. Kitchen was well equipped. Service from the rental agency was good. We were missing one particular kitchen implement and they immediately delivered one to us. Hot tub is an awesome feature, great to have after a long day on the hills. Ski in trail to Blackcombe only about 100 meters away, and we can ski back right to unit using a marked trail from Blackcombe's Lower Cruiser run. Perfect for 4 yo 6 people.
“Quiet Upper village Location, Clean, Near Bus Shuttle”
We generally liked the unit. It was quiet, and the underground parking was handy and secure. There seemed to be an adequate amount of guest parking spaces in addition to the space assigned the unit. We had two vehicles, and it didn't seem to be a problem. It was an easy walk to the shuttle stop next to the Coast Hotel. We walked each morning to the ski in to the right of the Coast Hotel Couldn't find the ski-in upper trail upon return. Unit was clean. Master bedroom on top floor was very nice, with nice views and bath. Main level with kitchen, living area and small eating area was rather on the small side, but very adequate and kitchen was well equipped with utensils, dishware, glasses and other supplies. Lower third level of unit had two rooms. King bed room was fine, had good closet space and window facing valley. Hot tub out the slider. Clean, nice shared separate bath on this lower level. Our only main complaint is that they sold this as a three bedroom unit. The third "bedroom" has twin beds, and that would be ok, but the room is windowless and has one electrical outlet, to which a long cord ran around the side of the room to accomodate a bedside lamp. The hot water tank is in the closet of this room. I would not recommend this room for adults...and if used for kids... I also wonder if it meets local fire codes lacking a window? Price of unit should reflect this issue. The unit should be sold and priced as a two bedroom unit, with a third "bonus" room that can sleep two more, if your guests or family don't mind a rather dark windowless room. Generally we give this unit and location very good marks except for the "third bedroom" issue. We drew "staws" with the two other couples we travled with to see who was the "lucky one" to get the windowless bedroom. As for service, the check in was great. After a quick phone call, staff met us on site and went over items about the condo. Overall good marks except for third bedroom issue.

Originally you booked this through a central reservation company & unfortunately a lot of reservation software does not allow us to advertise it as a two bedroom and den, which is what this property is. When booking directly with Aloha Whistler we let all of our guests know what to expect. This property does have three separate rooms and the room without a window is classified as a den. I understand this would be somewhat uncomfortable for a couple and would perhaps work better for children/teenagers who like a dark room.
