“Perfect location for ski-in/ski-out and views of the slopes!”
This condo was awesome! The location was ideal and the price was fantastic. There was a torchlight parade and fireworks on the slopes right in front of the condo the night we arrived - a wonderful surprise! The kids loved the bunk beds and the games. My only recommendation would be to update the mattress in the main bedroom so it's more comfortable.
Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to review the Slopeside East Condominiums. It is wonderful to read you had a booming welcome to Steamboat Springs! We are so happy to hear you were able to appreciate the property. We look forward to host you again in Steamboat Springs at Mountain Resorts. Sincerely, Ryan Fleming Director of Guest Relations
We just returned from our ski trip to Steamboat and we stayed at Storm Meadows East. This corner unit condo was on the 4th floor and looked directly out on the slopes. The condo was nicely decorated and lovely. It was truly ski in-ski out which is hard to find in Steamboat. There is a parking lot in front of the building which brings you in at the 6th floor and then you take the elevator down to the 4th floor. Unfortunately, the elevator does not go below the 4th floor. There are ski lockers on each floor. You have to walk down to the first floor to exit the building to the slopes. There are outside walkway and steps that exit the building on the fourth floor (only) which were easier to walk in ski boots than going down the inside steps which are right near the condo. We did use the inside steps to go down to the first floor where the very nice hot tub is located.
“Great slope access!”
My wife and I stayed here early January of 2014. The access to the slopes was great! You can't beat the convenience! The only things that I wish were different was how dated the place felt. But I knew that from the beginning. Also, If you stay in this condo, please do not bomb the place with your cologne! It's torture for the people after you! Fortunately, we fixed that with the wonderful aroma of chicken tortilla soup! Overall a great place to stay for convenient slope-side access! The next door construction was a bit annoying, but what are you going to do about that (love the chop saw alarm at 6:30!)?
This place was phenomenal - service, quality of room, and not to mention the convenience. It is a true ski/in out with everything you need. The stairs to the ski exit is actually right across this room. It is located right off the "right of way" ski route. The shuttle service that is offered with the room was superb and very quick. I loved that we did not have to drive anywhere! I would definitely book this room again.
“Great stay, clean and convenient to the slopes!”
We had a great stay in February, 2013. They condo is nicely updated, had enough room for my family of 4 (kids ages 7 and 3). And it was very clean when we arrived which is always a must for me. We loved the conveniences of being so close to the slopes, literally right outside the door. And convientely walked to our friends condo staying at torium plum. The only negatives in my opinion was that the building was a little dated and parking was sometimes tight. Other than that, it was great and we'd definitely go back. Thanks!
