We had everything we needed. We were close to the ski trail. The spa is near by. The shuttle took us everywhere we needed to go. What else could I ask for? A simpler TV and a spatula for nonstick frypan is the only thing we wished for.
Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to review the Storm Meadows Club Condominiums. We are so happy to hear you were able to appreciate the services and could not ask for more! We look forward to host you again in Steamboat Springs at Mountain Resorts. Sincerely, Ryan Fleming Director of Guest Relations
“July 4th weekend stay”
My 25-year-old daughter and I stayed in this unit during a last minute trip for 4th of July weekend. Condo has been updated with 'mountain' decor and was comfortable and clean. The complex pool/gym/hot tub is just across the small parking lot. Unit is entry level and we were always able to park directly outside our back door. No view, but very convenient. Complex was quiet, inhabited mainly by vacationers. We basically only slept there, since most of our short vacation was spent hiking or exploring Steamboat area.Fireworks in town on the 4th were nice. Strawberry Park Hot Springs was ridiculously crowded, but that was outweighed by the quality of the massages. If you want a bun-buster hike, go up from the base of the gondola to the top (take water!), then take the gondola down (it's free in the summer). There is a false summit along the way, so take that into consideration and pace yourself. Upper Fish Creek Falls is another great one. We also got a very good deal at the last minute with Mountain Resorts Mgmt in Steamboat. Note: It is very difficult to find this complex at night. If you have been before, then it's OK with the map. If you have never been to Steamboat ski area or up Burgess Creek Rd, then it can be tricky to find the first time. Note: If you are driving up from Denver, be aware that the traffic on I-70 can be a nightmare! If the traffic is OK, then it is a nice drive up to the mountains, especially after you turn north off I-70.
The unit was very comfortable and clean. All amenities were outstanding.
“Comfy Cozy Porcupine”
Neat, clean, cozy, nice. Would recommend. After-hours check in was fast and easy. Loved the mounted Porcupine on the wall. Nice/neat property as well.
My husband and I decided to rent this condo for our one year anniversary. Super clean and it was like staying in your own house. Had everything you needed, including all of the cookware you could use which was great since we decided to grill our own food one night and used their grill to do it! The only bad thing is that if you want to use the free shuttle, you would have to walk down the side of the mountain to do it and there are no sidewalks. My husband and I decided not to risk it and spent our days sightseeing and the nights watching movies in the condo. Love the fact that there was a tv in the bedroom with a DVD as well. We also loved that we could use the pool and tennis courts that were right across the street. Couldn't say better things about the staff. Carly at the front desk is as nice as can be and extremely helpful. If I could make one suggestion (and it probably has nothing to do with the condo association) it would be to have the shuttles run up to the actual condos in the summer for people like my husband and I who wanted to have a few cocktails downtown and didn't want to drive.
