“Great vacation”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

Everything was perfect in the house. Location very near to the beach kitchen , bedrooms all was perfect .the only little negative point was on the pool it need more cleaning

“ok with many caveats..”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2014

Once you get past the pool that needed cleaning, the air conditioner system that was wholly inefficient for the house (i.e.; it was running full blast and could not get the house cooled down in 94 degree highs), a near dead raccoon in the back yard as we arrived (which was taken care of expeditiously), a hot water tank which couldn't provide enough water for one person to take a bath and then another person to take a shower, cords running all through the bedroom which was a serious trip hazard, furnishings out of the 80's that smelled of homeless person, water which sprung up in the middle of the floor, two of the three televisions that were not hooked to anything (one was not plugged in) and towels that were from the 70's which was probably the last time they were washed with fabric softener, the house was ok. The rental agreement says that we, as tenants, are responsible for washing the bedsheets and putting them into the dryer before we left. Nothing says last day of vacation like doing laundry for someone else. The only good things about this house is the location which is very quiet yet close to the action. You can see the beach from the house and it is an easy walk across the street to the beach access. The bed was comfortable as well. The house has a good size and layout, with an open floor plan and two adequate bedrooms. We traveled with two dogs and the fenced in back yard is a big plus. If the owner put a few thousand dollars into the house it could be something I could recommend. As it is, not a chance. The rental rate is excessively high, but they were willing to come down a lot which got us to come try it out.

“Great Family Beach Fun!!”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2014

We loved this place! We are a family of four with a 4 and 7 year old. It is literally right across the street from the Beach! And the beach is beautiful and much more private on the north end. Plus there is a pool at the house, which the kids loved!! It is about 4-5 blocks from restaurants and you can walk along the beach down to pier 60. The house is cute and surprisingly bigger then it looks! It doesn't have luxurious finishes, but it has everything you need for a great beach vacation! Honestly it was kind of nice to stay some where that I didn't have to worry about my monsters destroying the place, lol! And the beds are very comfortable, air works great and there are ceiling fans everywhere! I have been to many of the beaches in Florida, and Clearwater is one of my Favorites... When I go back I would 100% stay at the Beachside Villa again:)

“Perfect beach house for our young family”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2014

We stayed at the Beachside Villa over Christmas Break and had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and tidy when we arrived. One of the staff came to the door and checked on us our first day there to see if we had questions or concerns. We have 3 small children 6 and under and felt this was a great option for our family. Having laundry available was wonderful. Due to the time of year we visited the temp. was a little cool for enjoying the pool. But we were steps from the beach. Spent many morning collecting shells. Plenty to do in Clearwater we visited the aquarium on one rainy day. Downtown shopping and restaurants were all very close to the house. We felt safe in the location and plenty of side walks to use for daily walks. The only thing that I would have appreciated was a more fully stocked kitchen for cooking we ate almost all of our dinners in and I couldn't find a baking tray so I had to use foil but other than that perfect for our needs. Amazing location for the price.

“Very old, outdated, and lacking basic amenities like dishwasher”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2014

Perfect location, yet disappointing features. The house is too old and rundown. Kitchen apappliances were antiquated. Cabinetry was very old and broken. There was not enough hot water for 2 persons taking shower in the morning.

“Love location! Villa disappoints =(”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2014

The villa is an older property located across the street from the beach. It does not have a view but it's right across from the beach. The location is great as you get easy access to the beach and Clearwater Beach area, without any of the crowds. My family had a wonderful time. The villa itself was a major disappointment. Upon arrival, the beds and bathrooms were full of bugs. The villa is old and basically falling apart as nothing works. Management did not leave basic needs like toilet paper, soap, paper towels, cooking oil, etc. in the villa, which was a major inconvenience as we arrived right before Christmas and tried to cook Christmas dinner! urgh...lots of last minute runs to the one open store in the area. If you are looking for a place to stay were a cute old couple welcomes you and bakes you warm cookies, this is not it. If you want a nice place with granite counter tops, this is not it. If you want a place with comfortable beds and a working kitchen, this is not it. If you just want a place to crash to go to the beach, this is it! The property is managed by a management company that clearly has no idea what is going on at the property. If they spent one night at the place they would realize how decrepit everything is as it's literally falling apart. Truly a shame for an otherwise wonderful week at the beach.

“Spacious Beach House across From Beach”

Reviewed 24 May 2013

We have stayed with Belloise Realty several times, and each time has been amazing! Beachside Villa is much more spacious than it looks from the outside, and the location is perfect. The beach is across the street (5 second walk), and is away from all of the crowd. You can walk to all of the restaurants and shops in just a few minutes, which is very convenient. The house has 2 bedrooms, but also has a second living room with a futon, which can also be used as a third bedroom. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a relaxing beach getaway!!

“Great Place!!!”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2012

We had a great time at this place. We had only a few snags but they were quick to fix them. If you are looking for the granite counter tops and other luxury items this is not for you. That being said it is a very nice beach house. You cannot beat the location. Very short walk to the beach. Plus quiet residential setting. We will be going back to this property again.

“Great Rental home- Bad week to take a vacation”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2012

We picked the absolute worst week to visit Clearwater Beach . Out of six days we booked the home for, there were 2 with sun. The rest of the time we were in a tropical storm that kept us from going outside. The rental agent Patty was very accommodating. We had several issues at the rental home due to the storm. They sent someone out each time to deal with it right away, even in the middle of the storm. The stay was disappointing only because of the bad weather. We would stay here again in the future. The location is perfect...across from the beach.
