“lovely vacation...house needs some improvement”
we had a large group of family members from pa, Va, TX, FLa & NC which included 11 adults & 1 toddler. The house had enough bedrooms but too many of the beds were bunks & trundles which were only suitable for children which meant that some adults had to sleep in bunks:( The open floor plan was great for large dinners however the kitchen appliances were not workable. The icemaker did not work which meant for most of the week we had to buy ice. The burners on the stove made an annoying clicking noise every time we tried to use it to cook (which was often.The dishwasher did not properly clean the dishes which meant we had to wash by hand, not an easy task for such a large group. The toaster burned the toast every time and the coffeemaker was not working properly. It took forever to brew one pot of coffee and for several coffee drinkers that meant having to wait for the next pot to brew which was about 20min or more. Not having workable small appliances in such a nice house is inexcusable since toasters can be purchased for about 30.00 & coffeemakers 40.00 or less. For $6,000 per week, I would think the owners would at least make sure these small necessities would be in working order.

“Wonderful Week; Wonderful House”
I have stayed in this house 3 times and have never been disappointed. The family that came with me for the week has never stayed at this house and were very very impressed with all the amenities, views and overall charm and character of the house. I wish that the ice machine would have been available to us, but that didn't distract us from enjoying the house or our vacation. The owners have a beautiful home. I was very glad to see that some of the paint had been freshened up a bit and that the decor remained the same. This is definately a place that you can call home for the week, and leaves you wishing you could call it home forever! We will be back!
The house was very nice and the location to the beach was perfect! We had a wonderful experience. A few issues were with the house. In the kitchen the stove and the locking was interesting. The microwave works, but sounds bad. You may want to add air conditioning to the game room. It was nice to have the pool table, but it gets too hot down there. The bedroom carpets are getting quite dirty and should be replaced. All in all the house location and access to the beach was great!

“Beautiful home, family friendly features, unique experiences!”
4294 Island Drive is a fantastic place to create annual family vacation memories! The kids loved the bunk rooms plus the separate baths for each really added to convenience and privacy. We especially enjoyed the high-tech features of the home like the total home surround sound. Each evening was spent in the great room having family dance parties while dinner was prepared in the fully equipped, fantastic kitchen! The easy access to the ocean made it easy to come back to the house for lunch, snacks or a break without having to lug a bunch of stuff back and forth from the beach. After dinner, we loved to walk on the beach. It was low tide then so the beach was very wide. There was a natural turtle nest right near our walkway so every evening, after sundown, we checked to see if the baby turtles were heading to the ocean. On our last night, the turtles came out! It was a magnificent, once in a lifetime experience for the adults and kids. 84 baby turtles made their way to the beach! I really have nothing bad to say about this home, the location, the amenities or the price. Our group has already booked again for next year!

As we write another chapter of our life Iam glad to be able to say that Topsail Island and Treasure Realty will be apart of that. The residence that we stayed was out of this world. All of the guest that atttended this occassion was amazed at the things that it provided. Several of them were like wwe need to vist here more often. My family discussed possibly renting the same house for a family vaction in the future. I would like to tank you for your servises during this time.

“Great time at Island Drive”
Over the Christmas holiday the family gathered at this wonderful beach house. The accomodations were great, very roomy and the use of the elevator for my disabled mom came in handy.
The house is beautiful, cozy, and has a good location. Our vacation was wonderful, we made some life time memories here with our children and grandchildren. The only thing that was not perfect was a couple of cleanliness issues that were passed on.

“Love Topsail & very much enjoyed our stay”
Loved the home & location. We did not us the pool, only because we loved the beach. The house had every thing we needed. The only down point of the house was the game room had a bad smell to it. We have been renting homes on Topsail for 10 years & this house was in our top 3 homes. We would stay in anyone of these homes in this community. We always use the linen service & would like more towels. It doesn't seem like they provide for the # of guest that can stay @ the homes. We prefer this area North Topsail.

With regard to linens, the service offers one towel and one washcloth for each person that the home can sleep, so in this case it should be 22. If what you receive is deficient, you are welcome to call the linen company directly (at the number indicated on your check-in packet). Also, if you are interested, they do offer a deluxe linen package that has double the number of towels and washcloths for about 50 percent more I believe. Your reservationist can help with this when you book your next visit. “Never again unfortunately”
After our trip I sent a lengthy letter off to Treasure Realty describing the "issues" we encountered. Someone had made an offer of a monetary refund if we were interested...of course we were but never heard a thing after that. Sorry, but would not recommend Treasure Realty to our friends and family.

As you know, this is really a lovely home and I think you guys caught us right at the end of a very active summer. I recall that your letter pointed out some cleanliness and condition issues after you got back home. We really try hard to have every home completely prepared for our guests when they arrive. But sometimes we have to send a crew back out to a property to “finish” things that might have been overlooked or are of particular concern to a particular guest. We don’t mind and I wish we had had that opportunity. We look forward to hearing from guests if there are some subtle shortcomings that we can remedy. I appreciate your input and honesty and my offer still stands - if I can do anything that might make a trip back to Topsail Island more likely for you and your family, please call me....maybe we can work a little magic for you and yours.
