“Away from the maddening crowd”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2016

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were 3 generations and found accommodations really relaxing. Certainly off the beaten path, but a great respite after long days in Yellowstone.

“Fantastic!”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2013

We had a wonderful time! The reason: fantastic people to rent from and a quiet, relaxing get away spot. If you want to be out in the middle of mountains and deer and peace and quiet then this place is for you! If you want to be around people and close to restaurants then this may not be for you. If you stay here, bring your food and plan to cook. The service of the rental team is outstanding! These are the nicest people that handle everything that could happen! We went out to start our truck at 8:00 at night and the battery decided this was the time it was going to die. I called the rental agency and they sent someone right out to give us a jump start!! How great is that?!! Also, I somehow left my dogs medications behind when we left and they called me immediately and offered to ship it overnight! Who does that? Sure enough, it was there the next day. Just in time for my very old dog that needed her medication. Wonderful and caring people!! Thank you ladies! You rock!!

“Beautiful !!!”

Our family was blessed to stay in this wonderful cabin during our recent trip west from Tennessee. We enjoyed it so much! The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with the necessary supplies. So peaceful and the views are beautiful. Thank you so very much for a wonderful stay!

“We loved the views!”

We had a wonderful experience at absaroka Cabins. We had everything we needed and we loved being surrounded by the beautiful Montana scenery. The cabins were clean and comforable. We watched deer right outside our cabin and saw elk when we were driving out. The only negative was the hot weather and lack of air conditioning. I know it was unusually hot when we were there the first week of July and it was only really uncomfortable in the afternoons. Over all it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again. We drove out to Yellowstone every day and it was so nice to have our Mountain home to come back to. Thanks for making our vacation a success!

“Wonderful stay at absaroka Cabin”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2012

My friends and I rented the main cabin for 3 nights. It couldn't have been more perfect. The cabin was very clean, cozy decor, comfortable accommodations, and well-equipped. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and convenient to Yellowstone, hiking (right behind the cabin), Livingston, and Chico. We appreciated the great CD collection and little stereo, firewood and wood-stove, and nice kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too. We really have no complaints about this place, would recommend it to anyone, and will definitely be back! Thanks!

“We miss the cabin!”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2012

We got lost at the nearest intersection to the cabin. We could find nobody to ask the way. Our Japanese cell phone didn't work. We really needed the map. The people of the big log house on the way hepled us. We were surprised to see the location of the cabin. It was in the middle of the ranch. The cabin was so isolated that we were worried about our security. The scenery was breathtaking. The cabin was cozy and we could enjoy our short stay. We are not used to the windows without curtain or blind. We wanted the curtain for the front door window and the window close to the door. Our stay at your cabin was the highlight of our travel to the us. Thank you very much.

“Thank You”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2011

Thank you for a great place to spend part of our vacation! The cabin was a great home base for horseback riding and Yellowstone, but most importantly it allowed our family actually relax together on vaction. We loved the cooler of legos!!! we read, played games, took aftenoon walks and baked cookies- things my kids like to do on vacation. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

“Tranquil getaway”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2011

My family and I had a wonderful time! The cabin was beautiful with great views and very secluded. The people in town were friendly and the staff at Mountain Home was extremely helpful. I would recommend this for anyone wishing to get away from their busy life and enjoy the beauty of nature.

“Awesome”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2011

The cabin was great especially with the setting the the mountains in the background. Directions could have been better coming from Gardiner instead of taking us all the way to Emigrant and then back tracking. There was a much easier and quicker route from Gardiner. The kitchen could have used some large mixing bowls for salads, etc. Also, the top part of the kitchen window needed a blind because between 6:30 and 7:30, the sun was in the right position to create a problem for those watching TV. Other than that, our stay was great and Yellowstone was absolutely awesome.
