“Not too good!”

Well i have bee staying at Daystart Condominius many times, in Bahia Encantada was the first time , but after staying at the Paloma Blanca and Diamante de Oro this is was a very diferent experience , first i was very stress and tired of a month of hard work , so i went for relax weekend but i came more tired , i was specting to sleep as a baby but my suprise was that the light came all night because de the kid of curtains , also de the bed was very unconfort the matress was diferent. Anyways i was disappointed twice because the weekend before i make my reservation at the Diamante de Oro , and i was very clear that i don use elevator for a bad experience in the past and that also i have a problem in my leg so the offer me the third floor and the confirm by email also , when i get there with my brother family i realize that the confuse and floor able was the seven floor , of course i could not stay i have to take children and family back to SJO , just for something that could be prevent in the first momento i call , so things like that are very disapointing because your company have the monopoly of condomunius in the area , so we dont have any other option for a condominium and i dont like hotels , but i hope this things can be chance and am sure i will not have problems in the future so i can continue staying at daystart. Regards ,

“Very nice and relaxing.”

“Trying to rip off your customers is a bad idea.”

When I received my credit card statement in the mail there was an extra charge from Daystar for $68. What was it for I inquired? I had not been informed of any any extra charges for what? It seems Daystar is trying to make some extra money in the hopes that no one notices or cares to follow up. They reported to me that they needed to charge me $68 for 2 stained towels, 2 missing towels and a broken fork! There were no stained towels, all towels were left used at the pool or for showers, and how exactly do you break a fork? I have no idea, but i'm sure it didn't happen. Expect extra false charges if you choose to rent from Daystar!

“Wonderful, Stunning beach”

Reviewed 18 May 2009

When we arrived in Costa Rica we found that they were doing loud construction near our apartment. The manager was WONDERFUL and found us an open condo in another location down the beach. It was gorgeous, with incredible views (even better than the place we had originally booked--plus they didn't charge us extra!) They also gave us tips on where to eat and what to do. Made our vacation that much better. Thanks!!!

“AMAZING PLACE - WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!”

My friends and I (total 11 of us) rented 2 properties at the Bahia Encantada - both were 3 bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms. We were in Costa Rica for the first time for our friend's bachelor party. We rented units J3 and I3. Both units were beautiful and had everything we needed. It was close to the night life, right on the beach, and the pool was great with an in pool bar. The property even provided us with immediate taxi rides when we needed them - night or day. Just keep in mind that this is very much like a time share property in that their office wasn't open 24 hours - just regular office hours. Not really a big deal since it is a gated community - you feel very safe and the guards would have been able to help if anything went wrong. One other thing to keep in mind if you're vegetarian - the breakfast is not really vegetarian friendly - they had toast and jam, fruits, stuff like that - it wasn't that big a deal - we were cool with the breakfast anyway - it was off property at another Daystar community a few blocks away (they provide transportation). By the way - the girls at the front desk were totally awesome - they went over and above their duties. Lidia was a complete sweetheart and even helped us when we needed help translating our menus to the Subway sandwich shop so we could make sure that our sandwiches came out vegetarian! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place. Trust me - stay here - you will not regret it...you will have the time of your life!
