“Quiet, Beautiful, and Relaxing...”
What a terrific weekend we had. The house is absolutely beautiful - and in a great location. Sitting on the deck, just listening to the birds, trees rustling, and watching the clouds go by was the height of relaxing. We fired up the wood stove for a cozy evening. Just an amazing place! Well worth the price.
“Quiet Getaway Just Outside of asheville”
We absolutely love this place! Just the perfect size for my husband, myself, and our 2 dogs. The house had everything we needed and more. The backyard was peaceful. The dogs loved the pond! We will definitely be back!
“So many memories made, Greybeard Realty is very helpful, what a”
The pictures just don't do this home justice. Its very cozy and unique. Everything we needed was in the home. I would definitely stay again. If you want something off the beaten path and not too far from the attractions this is it! We loved the porches with the bird feeders and rocking chairs. Me and my mother made many memories!
We had a fantastic stay. We figured we would just dip our toes in to see what it would be like and our only regret now is that we never opted to stay longer. With the exception of a 'Hail Mary' when attempting the driveway in a 2WD accord with dogs and gear it was worth all the effort to get there. Found the waterfall, enjoyed hiking, but I think most of all we just enjoyed reading and lazing about on the deck.
Spent 4 days there and everything was perfect and even better than described! Great mountain getaway. It is quite away from anything busy or even any people at all :D Excellent commodities spacious house.
“Very beautiful and peaceful.”
My wife and I loved staying at the Little Faberge Egg. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had every convenience needed for relaxing stay. The scenery is stunning and walking the grounds is a great way to relax. The town of Old Fort is close and convenient, yet you still feel as if you are way out in the woods. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting good R&R.;
“Great little getaway !”
The house was great. This was my first trip to the mountains in a long time. The view from the bedroom looking out over the mountains from the loft was breathtaking every morning. I'm scared of heights so the steep driveway was a little nerve-racking. My husband and I went for our 7th anniversary. We only stayed for 2 nights but wanted to stay longer!! The little touches were great and being provided with a book(s) to read and see what to do around ashville was great. We would love to come back and stay longer. Overall a great stay.
Loved the Little Egg! Recommend it! Thanks to owners and Greybeard for an enjoyable time.
“Beautiful home...once you get to it !”
The a-frame home is everything, and more than we expected. Warm and cozy with wonderful furnishings and decorations, plus all the amenities needed. Being a month long renter,closer care should have been done by some housekeeping issues...cleaner floors in the sunroom and bath...wash the windows !!!,especially in the sunroom. And last, "but not least", the driveway leading "up the hill". The drive up went from an adventure to a challenge to impossible. This will prevent us from considering this rental in the future.
“Wonderful escape in a classically decorated chalet.”
The reclusive spot was perfectly located by a frog singing pond on a mountain top. The furniture and classic decorations were from a movie. The gourmet kitchen was stocked. The house was a little warm inside and hard to keep cool - as it was really hot during this week.
