“Great location and residence to escape winter”

Reviewed 11 May 2013

We have stayed in this unit for five winter seasons. The Hilton Head area and Sea Pines Plantation are excellent locations October through april. The "off" season allows for a relaxing and uncrowded island. Temperatures remain warm enough for tennis, golf, biking and hiking.Sea Pines has a variety of advantages including the Sea Pines Preserve with good trails and wildlife viewing. Beach Lagoon Villa 309 is well maintained and Goode Vacation Rentals are there when you need them. We highly recommend Hilton Head, Sea Pines and Goode Vacation Rentals.

“Great place to stay in HH”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2010

My family visited HH for the first time and stayed at this great house. It was walking distance to the beach and pool. My 65 yr old mother was with us and had no problem walking to both. Great location. The house was beautiful and included everything we needed. The kids (6&4) thought it was the best place we have ever stayed and now call it our second home. I wish. Overall it was a great vacation cant wait to come back

“Exactly what we needed”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2010

My husband and I and another close couple planned a trip here for the 4th. Last minute another couple was able to join us for a few days and there was plenty of space for the three couples. We absolutely loved the location as we were steps from the beach, beach club and trolley. The house amenities surpassed my expectations when renting. The villa, the bathrooms, the furniture and the electronics have all been updated, making it a very comfortable space. However, when home from the beach we found ourselves spending most of our time on the surprisingly private back patio, grilling out, sipping cocktails or coffee and watching the golfers and a few alligators pass by. We would definitely rent this unit again and I've recommended it to my parents who also frequent the island.

“relaxation on the beach”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2010

I loved the villa. There was a minor problem that was taken care of right away. The only things that were difficult were getting to Goode (finding the Prudential plaza on the island) in order to get the dropbox to get the rental information. Car passes were called in, but finding the welcome center took several tries (went to one by the security gate first). I also had a minor issue with the tennis - but this was really my problem, I didn't see the tennis card in the package the first time, and had to guess which racquet club was the right one. The card is so tiny, perhaps paper clipping to the other info may help? The lockbox at Goode wasn't locked either - made me a little nervous at first, because the way the envelopes are addressed, anyone can look at the address and see the security code to get in.

Response from the manager This is the first time we have ever had a complaint about our location. Quite to the contrary, we are often told how convenient and easy our offices are to find. Our building is the only 2 story building at the first intersection/light past Sea Pines circle, which is the most well-known and easy to access intersection on HHI. Along the same lines, The Welcome Center for Sea Pines is the very first drive on the right past Sea Pines Circle as you head to the main gate of Sea Pines, which is very well-marked. Drop boxes are often unlocked on HHI, but ours is normally locked. Unfortunately, our lock had malfunctioned and had to be repaired/replaced which left the box unlocked for 3 days. “Great family vacation villa - walk to beach!”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2009

Our family loves staying at this villa - we have been fortunate to stay here for a number of years and look forward to returning. It fits our larger family with small kids well with plenty of space to spread out and is walking distance to the beach. The villa has always been well maintained and gets updated regularly. While rare, when issues have come up the mgt company has been very responsive and professional in solving the problem.

“Very nice villa”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2009

Very comfortable villa and has a lot of nice amenities like a gas grill, lots of living space and very nice master bedroom. We came after hours and had no trouble getting the keys from the lockbox. We didn't have propane for the gas grill but the agency came right out with a new tank. My only criticism would be that the sound didn't work on the DVD player in the bedroom with twin beds, so that needs to be fixed. Other than that, it was perfect.
