“No better place to stay in Rome!”
My wife and I had never been to Italy before. We were celebrating our honeymoon after being married for 20 months! I have nothing but great things to say about our stay. We got in late to the apartment close to 11:30 pm. Patrizia's perfectly English speaking son was waiting for us. He brought us in, show us around, and got us all set-up. We were starving and so happy about the fact that there was a care basket with fresh pasta for us to make. In addition, Patrizia offered us a loaf of bread, eggs, and Italian meats to get us through until the next day. They could not have been more hospitable! I am not going to go on and on about how great the stay was; instead, I am going to offer you some helpful information. Getting to the apartment is super easy! If you want to take a cab from the airport, be sure to take the 48 Euro fixed rate cab. Do not take a regular cab as you will spend more. If you are looking to save money, take public transportation. If flying into Rome, take the shuttle bus to Roma Termini, the main train station in Rome. If coming by train or bus, you will likely be dropped off there. From Roma Termini, take either the train or the 64 bus to San Pietro station. The 64 bus terminates there. San Pietro station is literally a minute away from the apartment, so convenient. We took the 64 bus everywhere we went. When we went to the Coliseum, we got off and took a 15 minute walk, although you can connect to the 117 bus if you don't want to walk that far. We walked to the Vatican as that is also a 15 minute walk directly from the apartment. The location is truly perfect! There are a ton of shops, restaurants, a grocery story, a great coffee place, and anything else you need within walking distance. They provided free Wifi as well, which was a huge bonus for us. Also of great importance, the apartment was spotlessly clean! The apartment also features an elevator or lift. If you are going to Rome, do yourself a favor and stay there!
“Great stay, beautiful people.”
We had a very enjoyable stay in this apartment. Patrizia and his family are beautiful people. Everything worked well since our arrival (we arrived on Easter Sunday). After settling in the apartment gave us the pleasant surprise of inviting us to eat with them (they live in the next apartment) since they were all gathered to celebrate the Passover. It was a very nice touch indeed. The apartment is very welcoming, it lacks nothing at all, (even we had some food left us) extremely clean, beautiful and well maintained. We had information of a supermarket very close. The location is great, walking distance from St. Peter's Square, with bus stops and underground from nearby where you can move without problem to all the sights of the city. Absolutely recommendable. Thank you very much, Patrizia, we hope to return in the future!
“Great apartment and excellent host”
Patrizia and Mauro were very welcoming and if you are thinking to stay in Rome we can absolutely recommend their apartment Casa Patrizia. It was very comfortable, extremely clean, with good location and with welcoming basket on our arrival full of food and two bottles of wine. Quick access to the bus, train, supermarket and short walks to the historic city centre. We hope to stay there any time soon.
Patrizia and her son were extremely welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable by having a gift basket of food and wine ready for us, and by inviting us to join her family for Easter dinner! The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was plenty big enough for the three of us, and was in a perfect location. Quick access to the bus and train, and short walks to most of the big attractions. Elevator, wifi, tv, and a new washer were great amenities to have. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that the terrace didn't really have a view. you could just see the other apartments across the way and the tops of buildings. But it didn't really matter because we barely stayed in the apartment. If I ever come back to Rome, I would 100% stay here again!
“Great apartment and fantastic location”
I really enjoyed my time in Rome and one of the many reasons was the absolutely wonderful accommodation. The location was fantastic, so close to St Peter's Square and within walking distance to all the monuments and sights within Rome. The rooms are very nicely furnished and have all the appliances you could need when away from home. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Rome!!!
