“We will always remember staying here and what a great time we ha”
My family loved the cabin. It was clean, and cozy. We didn't have one problem the entire weekend. The only suggestion I have is, steps are needed at the Jacuzzi!!! It will be a place we will remember in the future. Diane Mauldin alabama
Rented "A Place To Remember" for our 30th Wedding anniversary in November 2013. Beautiful cabin, very nicely furnished and very spacious. Located in a great area between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Highly reccommend this rental and would rent again when returning to Gatlinburg. Very easy rental process. Roads leading to cabin are nicely paved...but can be quite steep in spots.
“It was a great cabin!”
It was a beautiful cabin and location. Some things needed fixed. One side of the picnic table was broke, the left side of the range didn't work. The toilets seemed like they weren't cleaned. Dirty scum inside, in both bathrooms. Also, the steps could have been swept every so often. We had a new walker on our hands. He just started to crawl up the steps and I noticed a lot of build up of dirt and hair build up. I noticed someone else commented on this, but the garbage cans almost blew over the hill when we had first arrived. They need to be bolted down. But besides all of that, we had a great time! Nice and quiet and peaceful!!!

Several small inconveniences in this cabin: (1) closet right behind the door in the downstairs bedroom; (2) Downstairs bathroom has no counter space; (3) Inadequate lighting in the TV room - only overhead lighting and very small and poor table lamp;
“Excellent and inviting”
From our first view of our cabin to the day we departed, we were blessed beyond measure. I had an issue with the TV and it was handled promptly and with courteous help. We never expected to see a bear but was visted each morning. Lots of pictures captured our wonderful, exciting vaction. Definitly will return.
I have stayed with you before, but this time was a little different. The cabin was nice in fact one of the nicer one I've stayed at. But when I called in to get my code for the door, I was informed that the TV was out but assured that they had either been there to fix it or was on the way. And to call if it wasn't fixed. So it wasn't working. In fact Direct TV had not been there and I called back several times to discuss this and always got "they are on their way" or "let us know when to come and we will send someone" and finally "oh the tree has to be cut" how very said that I just heard excuses and given the run around. I would almost bet that no one even called Direct TV to help. I was just fed lines to keep me thinking that you were doing something. I felt you knew exactly what was going on as there was another family that had just left there. I felt lied to and other family members that I told that it would get fixed were very upset. There we children and elders there that needed that as they don't want to go out and explore the area. And it turned out that those were very upset. I also felt "blown off" when I tried to talk to someone about the experience, just trying to apease the situation. How very sad to have to experience this. Who ever that was on call that weekend.. shame on you for lying and blowing smoke. Talk about a bad taste left in your mouth. Not only me but everyone that came together for the weekend...
When i rented the cabin to start with it was with a Superbowl discount which was great taking the family down for four days to see the game and enjoy the scenery was right up my ally. although there was a few problems when we arrived there was no heat for a day and a half the furnace was not cutting on and the cabin wouldn't heat over 58 with the gas logs going, finally got the furnace working the problem was that the switch on the furnace was thrown so it couldn't heat the maintenance man said it happens all the time. with using the gas i checked the tank and there was only 10 pounds showing left. so by Saturday all was thought to be OK then Superbowl Sunday turned the TV on and nothing no local channels so after getting a Superbowl package i didn't have the channels to watch it. spent 2 hours on the phone with dish company and they said that the dis the cabin had was out dated by 7 years and there was no way to get the game. got someone from the office and she told me there was no managers there and i would have to call the next day, Called for the manager she told me about the day before and there was no answer at 9:30 in the morning left message with him and never got a call back. this is a nice cabin but way up on top of a mountain and don't recommend it in the winter months much less any time it rains! clean and halfway private but still no heat and missing the game was inexcusable. the bad thing is i have used this group for years and they didn't seam to care when i called.
This was a great cabin, lots of room, hot tub great. I would definitely go back
“The magic mountain retreat...”
We were very pleased at the location and beautiful views of the mountains.This cabin was very clean,nice parking and seem to have everything you would need for comfort.We were only there for two days and I really hated to leave.We hope to come back next year for a week. The layout of this cabin works really well. Thanks for a wonderful stay...
“Definitely a Place To Remember”
Definitely a Place To Remember but not for the beatiful cabin.1st time renters from Patriot after years with two other cabin companies.Our stay was in the first week of October as it is every year for 18 years.Knowing that is the start of fireplace season for the cabins we are use to having to have pilots lite for the fireplaces.On arrivial we did our checks and found the fireplace not working.We then called the office which did send someone up to check it out in about 40 minutes which I thought was very good.Upon arrival the serviceman went straight to the problem no gas.Was told to call back in a hour.When we called back at 5:15 pm we where told the gas company was closed and would try again in the morning about 11:30 am we received a call saying we would be without the fireplace for our entire stay.That was very disappointing since we do not a fireplace at home it is our one time of the year we get to enjoy it.My wife and I found it very strange that a cabin company in the smokies could not get a gas company to come out or at least one they where willing to pay.Most cabin companies check gas tanks in September so as to be ready for the season and not wait until guests do not have amenities they claim to have.As for the cabin it was beautiful and would say that anyone wanting to rent it would very happy with it as long as you check with Patriot to verify that things are as they say they will be.We were offered a 10% discount for our trouble.I would of perferred the fireplace.I was told when we reserved it would be the last cabin company we ever used.Well it is definitely not our last but will be with Patriot if this is there policies towards guests,
Response from the manager Mr. Baskins I am sorry that the fireplace did not work during your stay. I can certainly understand that this was a disappointment. We did try to contact the gas company, but they couldn't come until Monday. Since your stay was over the weekend, there wasn't anything else we could do, but offer you compensation for your inconvenience. Again I apologize for your disappointment.
