“Excellent private cabin with good views and amenities”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2013

We rented this cabin last minute and didn't have a lot of time to shop around. We were very happy with this recommendation. We have three teenagers, and the loft bedroom and pull out sofa were perfect. The game room and master bedroom were nice and the roomy private back porch was very cozy. We would definately stay here again. It is a little bit of a drive out of town, but definately worth it.

Our cabin was so nice very clean which means a lot to me. From our cabin we were able to see firework from Dollywood really nice. This is our second time to stay here and plan on staying again next year.

Cabin was beautiful,it was clean and the bed was confortable. We had a wonderful time at pigeon forge. For a little extra delite we got to watch fireworks from our deck. After a night out the hot tub was an absolute blessing to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Loved our stay and cant wait to visit again. Thank You, William and Cathy Crane

“Wonderful Getaway Weekend”

We had a Great Time on our Trip to the mountains. Our Cabin had everything that we needed. We did not want for anything.

“Very relaxing”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2012

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. American Patriot Getaways was very accomodating getting us this replacement cabin at the last second because of a storm that blew out electricity and affected the original cabin we were scheduled to stay in. Eagle's Eye was very cozy and the hot tub was very inviting (even during the summer time). The only complaint that I have is that the water for the jacuzzi was brown. Other than that we will be back.

“Maid Service Needed”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2012

First, the customer service I received when booking the cabin was very accomodating. We did a last minute booking while traveling home from a beach vacation on our way home so we could extend our vacation a few extra days. The directions to the cabin was a bit confusing and we ended having to turn around a couple of times before we finally found the cabin. It is way up a moutain...very steep roads. Once we arrived, I started cleaning. Granted, I usually always wipe things down, wash dishes, etc. when we rent a house/cabin, but this one needed a bit more. There was fuzz or pet hair on the black sectional which I didn't appreciate. Many of the dishes that were put away in the cabinets as "clean" were actually dirty. After I got things cleaned to my satisfaction, I noticed that I wasn't the only person sweating...my kids who were watching tv were also hot. The afternoon sun that came in the windows had brought the temperature up to 87! We turned the air temperature down and it ran constantly for the remainder of the night until around midnight, it finally reached 73. This was a daily occurance during our whole stay. The air unit could not keep up with the rising temperatures outdoors. The hot tub outside barely bubbled and I didn't even get in as it was just a hot bath, which I could do at home. There were several large red ants on the back deck...someone actually came and sprayed which helped. The loft area, does contain an extra sleeping area, however it is seriously an upright ladder. My 15 year old slept up there, however he was hot (due to lack of air power). I started to go up there, to check for cleanliness, but I was uncomfortable climbing the ladder and just trusted his judgement call on that one. It could definately use some updating, cleaning, hot tub maintenance and a new air unit for summer stay. This is the second time I have used the rental company...I would use the rental company again, but this cabin - I'll pass.

“Beautiful Comfort”

Reviewed 23 May 2012

The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Wonderful space. However, the view of the mountains is semi-obstructed. The exterior hot tub had some problems. The jets were not very powerful. Additionally, the water in the exterior hot tub had a musty smell that stayed on your skin and swimsuits. Probably needed more chlorine? The kitchen is wonderful, able to prepare our meals with ease. Beds are comortable and cozy. Enjoyed having the fireplace. Also great WiFi. Will use american Patriot Getaways again. Probably pick a different cabin with better mountain view.

“very disappointed”

Reviewed 17 Nov 2011

I was disappointed with the cabin. Ad stated it was 3 levels but it was only two. The ad also said a loft bedroom. It was maybe 4ft. tall in the middle and you could not even stand up in it. All video games were in the loft so they were inaccessible. So you need to change your advertisement. I have stayed with you before at other properties and was very satisfied. Very disappointed for the price. I will think long and hard before staying again. Also got pet friendly only to find out the day we were to arrive that pet was expected to be in kennel anytime we were not in the cabin so had to take pet everywhere we went. Gerrie Jefferson
