“Terrible”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2013

The cabin was terrible and the location was horrible.I would not recommend that cabin to anyone.

“Unhappy”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2013

When I rented this little cabin "Heavenly Hidaway" I was looking for a nice little place to stay. This cabin is so old and run down it barely stands on the hillside. All of the furnishing is very old and decrepit. It was clean though. When we got into phone range we were told that the hot tub was not working and parts should be in within the day. This was never fixed. It also stank. The two bedrooms were so small, you could barely get around the bed on one side and not at all on the other..both rooms. Both beds were nearly falling apart, but probably wouldn't have given there was no room for them to fall over. The bathrooms were so small that you nearly had to climb over things to use them. For example my wife knees were up against the tub in one and up against the shower door in the other. She is 5'1". I would not recommend this cabin for anyone with disabilities or movement problems.Overall condition of the cabin was one of wood rot and old furniture. We were at the cabin in early april 2013, there was snow a little higher in elevation. There was a wood burning stove, but I was not going to use it given the overall shape of the cabin. The heat did work, but the fan stayed running the whole time. It never seemed to cut off. We were not impressed at all. The contact was good up until the time we got into the area. We were given information that cell phones didn't work well up there. Even when we had service contact with aPG was not good. The location was pretty convenient to both Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the mountains. This was the best feature of this place. Once again, we were not impressed. We weren't expecting too much as this was rated as an economy cabin, but I don't think that I would ever use this company again. I wrote to this company shortly after returning home concerning this place. I never heard back from them, except for them to send further adds to attempt to get me to stay again at one of their rentals. Live and Learn.

“Great Getaway Week”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2012

We took some time to get away for the week with no work, no kids, no worries. The cabin was great - very clean, neat and easy to find. Rooms were small but that was not a problem. Would have liked to have had a swing or rockers outside, but the front porch is quite small. Great hot tub.

“It was quiet but the cabin needs a little updating.”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2012

There were several negative things about this property. As soon as we got there, we turned the temperature up on the hot tub to ensure it was warm enough. We went to get in it about 4-6 hours later and it was lukewarm, not even steaming and the outside temp was in the 40's to low 50's. The fridge was disgusting. It smelt terrible and had mold in it. The shower door was broke and to keep it from leaking, my husband had to hold the door shut from the outside while I showered and vice versa. With that said, it was very quiet and peaceful. The wood stove/fireplace was definietly a plus.

“Awesome”

For our first time in Tennessee on vacation this was a great cabin how ever next time I'd try one up higher

“It was very enjoyable!”

I would recommend this cabin to anyone. It was not to far from pigeon forge or gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and very nice.
