“What you pay is what you get”
We spend a week at this location, unfortunately the house is very "wet" due to humidity. There were strong mildew smell through out the house, even with all windows open throughout the day … More

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback on the mildew smell in the house. It gives us the opportunity to give the owner helpful feedback for the 2014 season. This home has been rented for the entire season, and we have not had any feedback about bugs, especially cockroaches. We have never had any issues with cockroaches at any of our properties, but we have had people confuse crickets, earwigs, and wood roaches with them. Wood roaches are common on Cape Cod, and they are a different species from the American cockroach. They are known as "accidental invaders", and enter homes in search of water- not food. They are not secretive, do not reproduce, and try to get out of the home as soon as possible. In the future, please contact our office for any issues. We would have been happy to send someone out to take a look at the bug situation and have someone address the cleanliness issue. We do hope that you will give us another try in 2014.
