Absolutely nothing to complain about! Magnificent view, beautiful wood, plenty of space, perfect. Maybe a hot tub could improve, but thats it!
“just what i needed”
This was the first time I went to this cabin. it was really wonderful. I bought my tickets to the Biltmore Castle through Greybeard and when I walked into the cabin my tickets were already there along with brochures, and immaculate cabin, and homemade baked bread which was delicious. It was such a pleasure to get away with no customer service nightmares, pleasant people, helpful advise, email alerts and honesty. thank you so much. we are already planning our next visit to stay longer than 3 days.
“Nice little cabin!”
We loved staying at annie's cozy Cabin for 3 nights and would have stayed longer if possible. It was very comfortable and clean...had all the comforts of home too. The view was awesome, all the appliances worked and it was very quiet for a restful few days. On the negative side...the master bath sink was terribly clogged. About the driveway...it is no problem getting up the steep driveway, but we had 2 cars and we didn't dare try to turnaround and back in once we were at the top...it is very narrow. To get down the driveway we backed down and that was fine. Those are minor things and I would definitely stay there again.
“A backwoods gem - 30 mins from downtown asheville”
My sister and I had a lovely 3-night stay in this cabin, which lived up to its name - although while there, we spent most of our time on the deck, listening to the crickets, frogs, cicadas and enjoying the view. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, and we appreciated the welcoming pumpkin loaf from a local artisan bakery. We were made to feel at home right away. As a base to explore asheville it had advantages and disadvantages. The pros: best of both worlds, quiet retreat, more space for a better price than in a downtown hotel. The cons: it was inconvenient to go back home to change for dinner; the drive up there might have inhibited some people? It was windy and a little steep but perfectly manageable. I would definitely stay there again.
Great Cottage, We completely enjoyed our weekend at annie's Cozy Cabin. It was a beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Very relaxing with a great view.
This was our first rental with Greybeard and it was perfect in every aspect. Super friendly staff from the first phone call and the iphone app is just too slick for words. Very impressed. Online pictures of the cabin did not do justice to how nice is really is and it was super clean upon our arrival. Maps and directions were dead on but I would suggest arriving during daylight hours just to eliminate any missed turns. Nice privacy once you arrive and one you are unpacked you won't want to leave! We were in town for a Biltmore summer concert (Heart) and you are a very short drive to the estate, downtown, and plenty of activities. Organic and natural food stores and restaurants are abundant as well in the area which were great too. Wish list would included a later check-out of noon and possibly supplying guest robes but everything else was perfect. We will definitely return in the coming months.
Upon arrival, the cabin was only partially cleaned with still left in the washer and dryer. The bird feeders, which were advertised as a selling point, were full of fungus and did not appear to have been cleaned since last summer. Fortunately, we a are birders and put up our own. The one lane entrance road to the cabin in dangerous with no where to pull over for oncoming cars, and should be regraded for people with bad backs such as my wife. The cabin itself has potential to be a real draw. Unfortunately, the negatives greatly diminished the experience. Finally, the folks at Greybeard Rentals provided a highly professional job. The only negative being that their rentals require 100 percent payment 30 days in advance of a rental
Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and will pass these suggestions on to the owner. Glad you like the actual house though. Thanks, Greybeard Rentals Staff
Annie's was a wonderful cabin that provided a great place to stay close to Black Mountain and asheville. The cabin provided everything we could want and more! Beautiful view!! Greybeard was great to work with and very accomodating.
“Very clean and easy”
Thanks for a great time in a super cabin. It is well kept and very clean. Thank you also for providing many amenities needed such as a coffee pot, silverware, etc. The service was great as indicated and easy access for arrival and departure. It was only missing a fireplace but some may not want nor needed during summer months.
“total relaxation and convience”
It took a bit to find but the directions were great. Very comfortable, easy to get to asheville. Sleep number beds!!! All the amenities at an afordable price. City experiances close by and the feel of the mountains. We loved it so much we extended our stay.
