Cozy house with well-equipped kitchen and good dining room for a family dinner. Did not work well for a group of adults for sleeping arrangements. Designed for families with children. Lights are dim and poorly placed for people who enjoy reading non-electronic devices. Well-maintained, comfy house othewise.

We stayed at #12 Cultus Ln. for a week with our kids and grandchildren. The bedroom setup was perfect with 4 bedrooms all with queen beds and in one of the bedrooms there was also a bunkbed. Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were hard. There were 3 full bathrooms which was great but they are all very small. The kitchen had been remodeled but it is small. There were quite a few nice bikes but the bike path is not very close by. The deck is very large with several outdoor tables. It was nice to have the 10 Sharc passes. I would say that the house was fine but nothing special. We quickly found out that the Sharc is the only pool available for use by renters unless you rented through the resort. We could not use the new Cove pool or the North pool. The Sharc was very over crowded.

Regardless of the accommodations, Sunriver is fabulous! This home was quite adequate. Large wraparound deck with Jacuzzi, BBQ & many tables and chairs for a large group. The home is small - kitchen, dining & living room, but it is nicely decorated, very modern & cozy. Walk-in laundry room was very convenient and 4 Bedrooms & 3 bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay. The 12 bicycles in the garage were great! The management company is the best - anything we needed, they provided.

“we had a great family vacation!”
We had a fun time biking tubing floating . we went to a wedding in bend. the home was in a good location . the kids liked the sharc and Mavericks. we brought our golf clubs. but didnt have time, family comes first! we will be back! thanks for the wonderful time.
Response from the manager Thanks so much Stana Lee, Sounds like you guys had a full trip! Glad you got to enjoy everything. Rick
“The Hot Tub and Back patio are great!”
We liked this house and had so much fun. Appreciated all the bikes and the bedroom space. Kitchen was a little small for our group, but the dining room table was nice.
Response from the manager Wonderful Sandy, I really like that area - quiet and pretty close to the river and the park. Glad you enjoyed it. Rick
“Nice big house, needs some updating”
My group has stayed in lots of Village Properties houses, and this one was a bit funkier than our normal experience. Lots of deferred maintenance needs to be done (kitchen drawer that kept breaking and not opening, squeaky refridgerator, tiny bathrooms, old bbq grill that needs serious cleaning, etc.). But its spacious and easily slept and accommodated 9 of us (no kids). And all the problems we had when we arrived (3 wine glasses for a house that sleeps 10+, DVD player that didn't work, several lights without lightbulbs) were quickly and happily attended to by VP staff as soon as I called. We were there to ski Memorial Day and ride our road bikes, and had excellent easy time doing that from this house.
Response from the manager Thanks Jorie, I apologize that the maintenance items weren't taken care of before you arrived. I am glad they were handled quickly. We will speak with the owner about upgrades. Hope the skiing and biking was good. Rick Update: The owners have done a complete re-model / upgrade in the kitchen and it is now looking absolutely gorgeous. Check out the beautiful pictures on our website.
“Excellent for family get together”
We had great memories in this house. It accommodates 12 people easily. Having breakfast or lunch on its terrace in a sunny day can be the best experience one would have there.
Response from the manager Absolutely Erfan, A sunny time on the deck here is incredible. So glad you were able to create some precious memories. Rick
Good for the price, clean and good location! Our large family fit pretty well here given the layout. large kitchen table was nice! Beds aren't terribl comfy, fireplace creates a lot of smoke and not enough soap to continually have clean towels for large families.. so bring your own.
Response from the manager Thanks for the feedback Sarah, Yes, that is a great location being so close to the river and Fort Rock Park. We'll check out the fireplace. If you ever run out of anything (soap etc.), just give us a call and we'll run some right out. Thanks agian. Rick
We rented this house to celebrate family birthdays together. There were 11--8 adults, one 12 year old. one 9 year old and a 13 month old. The accommodations worked just fine. The rooms were big enough to accommodate everyone, the dining room table sat 10, there were lots of bicycles. We had a couple of problems--the dishwasher is old and does not work very well. It does not drain completely. We called and village Properties had a repairman out right away who fixed the dishwasher so we could use it, but he said it needs to be replaced. The hot tub needed cleaning to remove leaves and tree debris when we arrived. Again a man came right out after we called Village Properties. The fireplace chimney was stopped up and we had a house full of smoke when we tried to make a fire. We didn't call--just didn't try to make fires again. Other than those few minor problems, our stay was fine and everyone had a very good time. We liked the location--close to Fort Rock and to the Nature Center. There was ample storage in the pantry area for a week's worth of food, the refrigerator and stove were good. Lots of towels (including swim towels), linens, etc. The membership to the athletic club was an added bonus--a couple of days were pretty cool and rainy. so it was nice to have indoor activities for everyone. Lots of games, nice TV. Very good stay overall

“We could not get in.”
The house was very good over all but here are the things that made it a poor stay. The toilets are terrible. The upstairs toilet tank would not refill without having to play plumber most of the time. With kids who do not pay attention to what is normal, we found the toilet had not flushed about one to two hours after they used it. We began checking the toilet most of the time after the second day and left the lid off of the tank so we could get it to refill for the next person. The toilet in the back bed room would not flush the waste after three or four tries and was used sparingly. The front door lock needs to be replaced. At one point ( our third day ) we had to take it off to get out the front door. After we oiled it and put it back together it worked 90% of the time. The spa has a racoon family nesting under it and they raided the garbage cans of the houses every night. We enjoyed the daily visits from them and kept our distance to keep from getting attacked because of the young baby racoon. The house needs fans to cool the upstairs every night and the ones that were in the house were broken so we bought our own. The dryer had so much air pressure that the vent hose came off and filled the house with hot humid air. The one thing that we had to just put up with was the toilets but you would have to have had them replaced. The rest is part of renting a house. Village properties was great and was willing to fix anything we wanted but we were on vacation and did not have the time to work around the repair people. House was very nice and roomy and in a great area. We had a fun vacation while we were there.
