“Focused on You!”

Reviewed 30 Jan 2014

Condo 21 at the Liftside is, overall, a nice unit. With a well-equipped kitchen, large bath, patio and fireplace (with wood provided) it will suit most visitors. However, that first night on the bed was not good. The following morning, we went to the Key to the Rockies office and let them know of the situation. Without a moments hesitation, the manager (can't recall her name for the life of me) graciously moved us to The Springs in River Run Village. While the accommodations at the Springs were a distinct upgrade from our original condo, we were not charged anything additional. The Springs turned out to be a great place for us. We will definitely call on Key to the Rockies for our next trip to Colorado. (Ratings below reflect our opinions regarding The Springs property)

Response from the manager Thank you Debbie for the wonderful review! I am very glad you enjoyed the upgrade. We value you as a many time repeat client and will always try to make sure your stays are the best! Please call us for your next trip to Keystone! Sincerely, Patrice Novak Reservations/Front Office Manager Key to the Rockies 800.248.1942

“Restful.”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2013

We loved the condo especially the location over looking the river. There were two things we didn't like; the refrigerator was extremely noisy we turned it off at night to sleep. The second thing is the deck; it is in need of major repair. There are seveal rotten boards and the hand rail is coming lose. thanks ariane Kirby

Response from the manager Thank you for reviewing Liftside 21 and Key to the Rockies. We apologize for the noisy refrigerator. The owner of the property is replacing all of the appliances in August so they will be new for your next stay! We will inform the homeowners association about the deck as well. Thank you and we hope to see you again very soon! Sincerely, Patrice Novak Reservations Manager

“Doesn't have good directions”

Wery nice place but i wish they could give me a better diraction it took me 30 min. To find my room

Response from the manager We are very glad to hear you enjoyed Liftside Condominium #21. Please let us know if it was the directions to our office or to the actual property that was confusing. We give step by step directions for both if you book directly through us and hope our booking partners are giving acurate directions as well. We would love to know more details so we can remedy the situation for future stays. Thank you!

“Perfect”

We couldn't have asked for anything more! The staff is the best in the world! They take care of you better than anywhere in the world! We have stayed at lift side for the last three years and somehow it keeps getting better! We made the trip from Florida after the Disney marathon and it was so perfect! If you are looking for a get away then this is the perfect place! Larry

Response from the manager Thank you for the wonderful review Larry! We appreciate your business, as always, and hope to see you again next year!

“Had a great stay!”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2013

The condo was fairly clean and comfortable. It certainly met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. There are a few things that could be improved, though. First, the condo was advertised as only being 150 yards from the "Mountain House base area". This is very deceptive. It would be more honest to advertise that the condo is about 700 yards to the Peru Express Lift at the Mountain House base area, because that is how far you have to walk in your ski boots! Second, the internet service never worked, even after rebooting the cable modem and wireless router multiple times. Further, the instructions did not identify the name of the network connection (router) for the condo, only the password, so you had to try the password on all available network connections. Third, there were no sheets/blankets for the twin sleeper in the living room (which had Oreo crumbs and popcorn under it). Fourth, there was only one kitchen towel and minimal bath towels. Fifth, a dish strainer in the kitchen would be helpful. Sixth, the mattress on the master bed was way too soft (no support) and should probably be replaced. Seventh, the vertical blinds on the sliding door were inoperable and should be replaced. I know that all sounds very negative, but we really did enjoy our stay and I think these few improvements would make for a much more enjoyable stay and make us want to come back. Thanks for listening to our input.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. We would like to address the issues you mentioned. We advertise the unit is 276 yards from the Mountain House base, we will make sure the company you booked through updates their description to reflect this. We walked the route with a GPS to ensure accuracy. We have had the internet repaired by the provider, there was in fact something wrong with the modem. The vertical blinds will be replaced within a week or so. We inspected the inventory in the kitchen and found two collanders as well as a strainer in the cupboard. The welcome letter we gave you upon check in states the twin sofa sleeper sheets are kept in the ottoman in the living room and the queen sofa sleeper sheets are kept in the master bedroom closet. Were they not there during your stay? Unfortunately the mattresses/beds in the units are provided by the homeowners and are per their taste. Our maintenance, housekeeping and check in office are all within 150 yards from the property. We are happy to address any issues you have while you are in house immediately. Please contact us in the future during your stay and we will remedy any situation that may arise. Thank you for staying with Key to the Rockies.

Very nice service, very welcoming and informative. The locks were broken on the sliding glass door, so security was a concern! Very clean, nice amenities. Good time of the year to visit as it was very quiet. Did not use pool or hottub, but looked fine. Had a coupon, so the value was good; not sure what it would cost otherwise

“Great location”

Reviewed 28 Feb 2011

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a meal. The location was terrific and made it easy to walk to and from the chair lift. Close enough to come in for lunch or to take a little break when the kids were tired or cold. A few more towels and pillows for the pull out sofa/chair would be nice. Also, the pool/hot tub areea could use a little TLC. The property manager of the condo (not Key to the Rockies!) did not open the pool at the posted time of 10 am, presenting a problem for us as we were travelling with two young children who could not wait to swim. Despite those few things, we loved it and would come again to stay. Finally, Mo, at Key to the Rockies, was a delight to work with in arranging our trip! He was helpful, friendly and very personable! Kudos!

“Great place!”

It was absolutely a gorgeous facility and very close to the mountain. Everyone was very respectable and the room was very clean with everything we needed.

“A great weekend”

Reviewed 13 Feb 2010

One of the closest Liftside units to slopes and lifts! It is also bigger than the other unit we have stayed in along with the seperate shower. We enjoyed not having to climb several flights of stairs in the other bldg; this is a ground unit.

Response from the manager Thanks for your response. These response help guests like yourself pick a great property for their next vacation. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

“Great Ski Condo”

We really enjoyed our stay...close promiximity to the slopes and lots of space compared to places that may be newer in construction but smaller in size.
