“A SPECIAL PIECE OF PARADISE!”
This was our second stay at Kahana Village and our first stay in unit 2. The unit is nicely decorated and had everything we needed or could want. The unit is at the edge of the property but the view is still fabulous and it's just a short walk to the pool, beach, and bar-b-cues. Kahana Village is equally close to Kapalua, Napili, and Kaanapali yet feels worlds away with the beautiful beach right in front of the property. Excellent swimming beach and the whale-watching and windsurfers are a blast to watch from the large lanai. Reservations already made for next year! Vicki and her team are the best!
“Loved our stay”
We had lovely accommodations. I would ihighly recommend. .Kahana Village staff were wonderful and very helpful and accommodating, Grounds were beautiful, my kids are 23.20 and 18 and they were very happy with the condo.
“Annual whale watching trip”
We have been staying at Kahana Village for almost 20 years and would not stay anywhere else in Maui. We have recommended it to many and all that have stayed there have been equally happy.
“a great family time”
Very clean and well prepared for our arrival, but very basic furnishings and equipment. Needs updating. Chipped cups and plates. No kettle to make tea. no teapot. We had to boil water in a pot. Great view from the deck and especially from the kitchen window.
“A little slice of Paradise”
I didn't know what to expect but from the first moment everyone was eager to help and look after us. We arrived far too early due to the flights but even though the previous occupants had left the condo in a bad state, housekeeping succeeded in getting it ready for us very quickly, even letting us leave our bags in the rooms while they cleaned around them. The apartment was perfectly situated, about 20 meters from the beach and we watched the sun set over the mountains every day after snorkling and sun bathing just yards from the apartment. It had everything you could possibly need in it and had a very comfortable vibe. One tiny detail which has probably been taken care of by now was that the shower head needed replacing as it was starting to build up lime scale so the water pressure wasn't great, but it was such a minor thing and didn't detract at all from the great experience we had. Good value for money, and a lovely place and very friendly people. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
“Beautiful and private rental”
Kahana Village is wonderful! My husband and I were looking for a quiet place for just the two of us to enjoy Maui. Our goal was to find a nice, clean condo, with a kitchen. We stayed in Unit 2, which was beautiful. It had a fully stocked kitchen and it was also updated to include granite in the kitchen and both bathrooms. It was so clean upon arrival! In addition, the housekeeping staff cleaned again midway through our stay. The office staff was incredibly helpful as well; offering a ton of local advice about the island. And the Wednesday Mai Tai's...yummy!!! We will definately be back!
This was a last minute trip for our family before the kids went back to school, and it was the best decision we ever made. Kahana Village was just perfact for our family of 5...Unit 2 was wonderfuly, very clean, great views of the ocean and this unit was very private. I would highly recommend Kahana Village as a place to stay in Maui.
“Amazing accommodation with amazing view perfect for a family of”
First time to Maui with the kids and staying right on beach was the best way to really enjoy the true Hawaiian life style. Next time we will stay longer for sure.
“Yes, I would stay again.”
The staff can make all the difference, and all I heard to every request I made was a very friendly Yes. Location great, accommodations great, again the staff were great.
The service at Kahana Village, overall, was outstanding. The staff is accommodating and addressed any need we had. The weekly Mai Tai parties by the pool were great. We had an outstanding view, just steps away from the small beach at the facility. The grounds are well maintained and the pool and surrounding area was wonderful. We cooked out by the pool a couple nights, enjoying the sound of the ocean and cool breeze. The location is incredible! We like to hike and visit different beaches, and we were not far from anything we wanted to do. Even the starting point to the "Road to Hana" and South Beaches are less than an hour's drive. Mama's Fish House on the North shore was also less than an hour's drive and we combined it with a trip to the "flea market," which was great. Mama's, by the way, was our favorite dining experience. We were five minutes by vehicle from Napili & Kapalua Beaches. We were in Maui 10 days and went to Kapalua Beach 3 times. It is recognized world-wide and is absolutely gorgeous. It is a haven for sea turtles and we saw more (and larger turtles) than any other trip we have taken. Unit #2 (2nd story) was very nice and I especially liked the kitchen being opened to the living/dining area. The master bedroom was very nice/spacious and a cool breeze was always blowing through the main floor. Really the only negative thing I can note is that there is no air conditioning. This is not a hugh issue if you stay on the main floor with the breeze always blowing through but, because my husband and I slept in the loft bedroom, there was little air circulating up there. We used several fans from the condo to make ourselves more comfortable at night. The loft bathroom had the same problem with lack of air circulating and it made it uncomfortable to get ready to go out to dinner in the evening without sweating. Otherwise, an incredible facility, unit, and trip. This was our second stay at Kahana village and I'm confident we will be back.
