“Take your breath away”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2015

We had expectations that were not only met but exceeded anything we could have imagined. The staff was a cut above any group we have ever dealt with. Harmony should be voted good will ambassador for your facility. She goes above and beyond and seems more than happy to help. The complex was beautiful, the appointments first class and the view and the beach were like out of a dream.. To please the varied age brackets in our group; grandparents, parents, young adult and tweens , wad a daunting task. You did it and did it beyond anything we have ever experienced. Thank you for having a first class operation , we will be back, and back and back,

“We will be back!”

This condo was everything we hoped it would be. The description and pictures online gave a very accurate vision of our accommodations. We loved the quiet setting that Kahana Village provided. It wasn't loud and crowded like most resorts. The Mai Tai party was an added bonus! The drinks were delicious and our whole group had a great time! We will definitely be back and will tell all of our friends and family!

“Amazing, relaxing and last memories”

We had the opportunity to stay at Kahana Village for one week. The place was amazing with very comfortable beds and I loved that their was a laundry machine and all the spices were there. We had an amazing view right out our living room looking at the pool and the ocean. Kahana village also put on a Mai Tai party which was a very nice idea to be able to meet everyone who was staying there. The place made me feel like we were at home and the staff was very helpful in bringing us extra futons. We slept 9 people in unit 18 and were never squished. I hope we can come visit again real soon. The only disadvantage was the ocean was rocky but it makes one tour around to find other great sandy beaches and they are all located very close to Kahana Village. Also what you see on the 360 virtual tour is exactly the way the condo looks. Thank you!!!

“nice condo”

Great location, beautiful condo, but condo could use some updating. We paid for an extra person, but there are no sleeping accommodations for extra people. Washing machine needs updating, metal pieces fall off washing machine and into laundry. Master bathroom fan was not working.

“Great for couples or families who want a house setting not just”

Overall, a great place to stay. It is quiet and low key. The condo complex is well taken care of and right on the beach so you can walk to the ocean any time and you have beautiful sunsets. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. I knew the area of Kahana wasn't a good area for snorkeling, and it is rocky in places. However, there is a sandy area for the kids to get in the water, that's rock free and they don't care anyway! Great just to walk the beach and kids look for crabs and shells. Our condo was nice but we had really noisy neighbors the first part of the stay and since there is no a/c, windows are open and we didn't sleep well. The north end condos are more quiet. We stayed at Kahana Village for all the home amenities and to be able to cook full meals and that worked out great. Liked least: We drove every day to go snorkeling and boogie boarding to some well-known beaches (Napili Bay, Kapalua), but they are only a 5 min drive from Kahana. We didn't mind doing this, but for families that are active, and want a more all inclusive place, you might choose places up in Napili so you don't have to drive as much.

“Beautiful Oceanfront with lots of amenities”

My parents, in-laws, wife and I visited Maui for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversaries. In fact, my wife and were celebrating our 2nd and parents celebrating 40 years. The views that this property offers were amazing and just steps from the ocean. This condo also features all of the appliances, beach gear, and amenities that you will need during your stay. Unfortunately, there is not air conditioning and got a bit stuffy, but we knew this going in. The staff was very helpful and even provided a bottle of wine to celebrate our special occasions. The pool and spa were also very nice and well-maintained. The only error that occurred was when the third bedroom was set for 2 twin beds even though we had placed the request for a King conversion when booking. However, this was taken care of quickly the next day. Highly recommend!

“A week in paradise.”

Everything about our stay at Kahana Village was amazing. From the day we arrived throughout the entire week, everything was perfect. The condos are first class. The pictures of the accommodations accurately reflect the quality of the condos. The views are incredible and the grounds are lush and manicured. We will definitely be back to Kahana Village for our stays in paradise!

“Everything as advertised”

We stayed in Unit 31 for 10 days. There were six of us, including a three-year old. The unit is furnished just as shown in the website photos. We arranged for a rental crib which was not included. The view from the unit was magnificent! It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for the limited cooking we did. All of our party was happy with our stay. A single suggestion - a mirror should be added to the second guest bedroom so when an adult stays in it they do not have to use the mirror in the kitchen or a shared bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our few requests. Four barbeque grills were available, but we did not use them. The landscaped grounds are terrific and rival many five-star hotels. The 4-foot deep pool was ideal for us and the beach, although small, was very nice. Other larger beaches are close nearby, including B T Fleming, which has a lifeguard on duty and sparse crowds. The Mai Tai Party lived up to our expectations and you should plan to attend. Located in far West Maui, Kahana Village presents you with a need for a rental auto and adds to the travel distance to many Maui activities, but there are many good restaurants and shops nearby. If you want very nice accommodations, friendly staff, great surroundings I would highly recommend Kahana Village. We look forward to returning in the future!

“Great View but...needs updating”

To bad you cannot take the Unit One interior and move it to Unit 31's location. The view from Unit 31 was great. No problem spotting Whales and Turtles from the balcony. You did not get a sunset view in late February but we certainly were able to take a very short walk around the corner to catch that. The Beach supplies provided was more than adaquate. The downside to this unit is carpetng in 2 of the 3 bedrooms which is a curious choice for a rental. More disturbing is for the rental rate charged how dated many of the appliances are. Rust inside the washing machine and dishwasher. A kitchen sink faucett that when you turned it on you were pretty certain to get you wet unless you slowly turned it on. Screen Doors and Sliding Doors / Door locks could use a little maintenance. In fairness, we did enjoy are stay and if we had not moved from Unit One we would not have seen the contrast. Would come back again in a minute and select this unit post an interior upgrade but based on the rates charged I would pick Unit One over Unit Thirty One as it sits in its current (February 2013) condition. Which ever unit you select at Kahana Village you will be blessed with a great Office Staff (Harmony was especially wonderful to work with) and Housekeeping. Would reccomend Kahana Village on that basis alone.

“Paradise in Paradise”

We spent a week in the magnificent house. We shared it with our daughter,son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. We all had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. Decor fantastic and the view is indescribable. With 2 little ones, we really appreciated the heated pool. Ocean was a little too shallow to snorkel. Very clean and very helpful staff.
