“Excellent Stay in Unit 28”
We enjoyed our 4 day trip in Kahana Village. This condo is on a nice, kid-friendly beach and has a great pool for families with little kids as it is only 3 feet deep. While it was a great kid-friendly place, it was not overrun by small children so as to make it difficult for people traveling without children. The unit was very clean and the whole complex was very professionally managed. It is one of the only places I have stayed in on our trips to the islands where there are an adequate number of grills and tables for everyone to enjoy evening Bbqs. The location was nice for the Kaanapali/Kapalua area - close to shops and restaurants but far enough away from the Kaanapali crowds. Absolutely no complaints at all about our stay here.
“Good to be Back!”
After an extended absenteeism from Kahana Village our return was perfect just as in the years past. Vicki and her team are just out standing and have always made our stay just delightful. Thank you again and we will see you soon in unit 28.
“Kudos to Kahana Village”
Recently my family of four stayed in unit 28. As I am one to research our accommodations extensively for months in advance of travel, Kahana Village was high on my list of possible choices and after making the decision to stay there my expectations were lofty to say the least. We were not disappointed. In fact, our stay their exceeded all expectations. The location on the beach, the quiet setting, the amazing staff and all the amenities of home were but a few of the stand out features that helped to make our memories so positive. Although units around and below us were occupied during our stay we rarely heard or saw anyone - a great bonus for those seeking privacy and solitude. Our oceanview unit was above and beyond what we were looking for and worth every cent. It was the kind of place we weren't in a hurry to leave behind each morning and looked forward to returning to each evening. The unit was so comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need from kitchen and household items to laundry facilities, beach accessories, books, Dvds and more. It was beautifully furnished and laid out well for a family. We awoke to turtles on the beach each morning and enjoyed sunsets on the lanai and whale watching all day long. The location to any place you might care to visit was ideal and any service you might require like groceries, restaurants, beaches and sightseeing were all in easy reach of us but without the throng of tourists and crowds. We won't hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone involved in maintaining this gorgeous property!
“Even had whales to watch off the lanai!!!”
Unit 28 is perfect for 2 couples. Away from the hubbub and the perfect place to relax. Quiet even with neighbors nearby. Well furnished. Kitchen has everything you need. We would rent it again in a heartbeat( and hopefully will).
This was our fourth stay and as always we had a wonderful time and will be back
“Best place to stay in Maui”
This is our 4th stay at Kahana Village and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Maui. This place rocks, especially unit #28! The views are awesome, the pool is a nice change from the beach (especially for kids) and management is the best...friendly, professional & extremely helpful. It doesn't get much better than the Wednesday Mai Tai party night.
“Excellent in every respect”
We really enjoyed our stay in Unit 28 at Kahana Village The unit is perfect: very clean, tastefully furnished, well equipped kitchen, beautiful view, in a laid back resort, everyone friendly and no noise. Kahana Village was ideal for us because we wanted to relax somewhere fairly quiet with a beach view for a week. A car is necessary however, if you to stay here, to reach the supermarket, larger beaches, restaurants etc. There is a good coffee shop that is walkable, and the Kahana Grill restaurant, where we had a wonderful meal. I would definitely like to stay here again, preferably the same unit or the one next door, which has the best view!
“Lovely condo -beautiful beach”
Great place for 4 people, nicely remodeled and comfortable. The best aspect is that it directly overlooks a beautiful beach that we often had completely to ourselves. The property managers are wonderful as well. We will definately stay here on our next trip.
“Visit to paradise”
Our visit to Kahana Village was excellent, Vicki made us feel welcomed. Unit 28 was wonderful and the pictures from the internet does not do it justice. We arrived late at night due to delayed /cancelled flights which was very stressful, upon opening the door to the condo and seeing the ocean then opening the sliding doors out to the lanai all we can say is wow!!! Great relaxing vacation and we will be back!
Seattle, Wa area = Husband/I (52 & 51) spent our 1st wk (Apr 20-27, 2013) on Maui with his parents (80 & 75) in Kihei. Enjoyed so much (Find "Kinaole Grill" food truck. Amazing - be prepared to wait for order) but, dad/mom continually talked about what we had to look forward to (Apr 28-May 11, 2013) in "Kahana Village" - couldn't wait for all of us to be there! It was fun to see Dad/Mom's name on the "Welcome" board upon arrival... Walked into room 28 and melted into the place! Great kitchen/appliances... large 'frig, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, blender, mixer, coffee maker & filters, lots of utensils, cookware, dishes - glass & acrylic, glass & acrylic drink ware, 2 sets flatware , variety of serving trays/bowls, basic spices, oils & non-perishable sauces/condiments in the cupboards, large dining table. Washer/Dryer, Iron/Board, Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, coolers. Housekeeping = once a week. No aC, but high ceilings and windows have screens/blinds - can remain open. Huge sliding doors that face the beach - can be kept open 24/7 if you're comfortable with that = fresh sea air! Décor throughout is tasteful and comfortable. Beach access = close & nice - snorkel/swim, as well. Beautiful grounds - nice pool. Facility manager, Curtis was very cordial, helpful and kind - fun to be served by him on Mai Tai night. Thankful for his help w/safe in room! The location is prime - short drive to Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kappalua, to name a few great nearby areas/beaches. Safeway, Times & Foodland grocer's very close. Recommend Skyline Eco adventures Zipline, Frogman Charters = Molokini snorkel (Must Do, but on a right wind day),"Ono Gelato" for Gelato & unique gifts,"Roy's" = fancy restaurant and "Honokowai Okazuya" = good take out. We enjoyed live music, drinks and/or food in the evening @ "Burger in Paradise.#1 = Sacred time, however, was being with Father/Mother in Hawaii Paradise - I was Texas Hold 'em $ loser, but life-experience winner!
