“Shorelines 09, on my!”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

What a fantastic unit. Beautiful surrounds, excellent facilities and fabulous customer service from Xiana! Thank you for making our holiday one to remember. We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were fixed within hours! We would definitely stay here again, the complimentary buggy also added to the ease of our stay. Worth it, with 2 kids they had their own space and enabled us to relax- the view was to die for.

“Could not image a better place to stay on the island!”

Can't say a bad word about this apartment.Service was excellent. The apartment was spectacular. The location was the best not far from anything. Amenities where great. If i ever came back to Hamilton Island i would want to stay in this apartment it had everthing you could ask for. My Friend love the ice maker in the fridge/freezer.

“Fabulous location. A bit tired.”

We were picked up promptly at the airport by a friendly and helpful staff member and taken to the apartment. It was pretty much as described, but a bit rough around the edges. A coat of paint and a really good clean would help. The main light in the ensuite was out, making the room unusable for getting ready to go out at night. We left a message about this, but got no response. Having said all that the views and location were fabulous. We enjoyed a wide variety of island activities including stand up paddle boarding, bush walks, a snorkelling day trip (included in our weeks tariff), visit to the golf course and lounging by the pool. The restaurants are expensive and some of the service leaves a bit to be desired, but our best overall dining experience was at the pizza restaurant Manta Ray. We have been to Hamilton many times and a private apartment is definitely the best way to go. You just need to accept that everything costs more on an island.

lovely clean apartment with beautiful view and stunning edge pool. didn't want to leave! quiet yet convenient location, walked to marina and main resort quite easily, shuttle at door and the buggy was great too

“Amazing View every day”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2013

Stayed here for 10 nights in July 13 with family. The view is superb and visible from the living area as well as the master bedroom. The apartment is a bit worn but still very serviceable. Some of the utensils need updating and could do with some curtains/ blinds on the living room windows as the sun can be overwhelming later in the day. The edge pool was located right on the water with a brilliant view. The golf buggy is a necessity as the island is quite hilly and a bit of a walk to the shops and resort.

“Wonderful family stay!”

Had a wonderful stay! Great property for children and families!

“Nice place to stay”

We stayed in Shorelines 09 for a week. We were wanting something private and self-contained so we weren't relying on going to restaurants for all of our meals. It was very convenient for what we were looking for, very close the marina and restaurants and absolutely stunning view. Our main and only complaint was that the bed was very hard and we found it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Otherwise, the house was clean and just as described. My husband was happy with the Tv's (most important!) and the other household amenities worked well. It was terrific to have the buggy for the week as the house is at the top of a very large hill, and great to use to get around the island. Great for use with a family, (although we used it for our honeymoon).

“Wonderful Christmas spent at shoreline 9 apartment”

We spent 4 nights at this apartment and loved it. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the apartment had everything we could have needed. In previous reviews, I had read that the apartment had worn out cooking utensils or a lack of but we found that everything in the apartment was in brand new shape and all we needed for cooking was available. The edge pool was magnificent!! The island itself is just beautiful. We are from Canada and this was our first trip to australia and we consider this stay one of our highlights!

“Fantastic views and Edge pool, nicely appointed, spacious”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2012

Great location (and a good workout for morning walks!) with second to none views out over Dent, Plum Pudding Island and across to Shute Harbour on the mainland -- loved watching all the boat movements, planes landing, helicopters, etc. Being able to use the Edge Pool was a big drawcard and would get us back there again - simply stunning. Apartment was nicely done, spacious - would have been great to have a few more pots and pans, utensils in the kitchen (but then I am a dedicated cook, even on hols!). Airconditioning throughout made sleeping very comfortable. Biggest negative was the BBQ -- just a small, well worn Sunbeam plug in number which when entertaining for 6-8 ppl made things pretty difficult -- would have expected something bigger for this type of property. Other negative was the sofa bed which was broken -- had we really needed to use it, would have been an issue (we made do with cushions on the floor as it was only for one night with the additional guest) -- again for this type of property and $, expected this would be in order. We'd definately stay again though -- our delivered groceries had been placed in the apartment when we arrived by the meet & greet folk which was greatly appreciated.
