“The perfect spot for families!”
We love the Beach Villas at Koolina for many reasons! Owner -Dameen: Well I can't say enough positive remarks about Dameen, first - he is a real person;), I called to confirm. He returns all e-mails and phone calls promptly. He is very thorough in his responses, and very pleasant & professional to deal with. He also has many ideas for activities, with websites & phone numbers. Hawaii Team: The team who greets you in Hawaii is very professional and friendly. They show you to your parking stall, help you with your luggage, and give you a tour of the condo (and how to use appliances/television) and resort. And best of all, if you have questions about the condo during your stay, someone will return your call immediately and if action is required it is done right away. Amazing customer service! Condo: It is beautiful! I have to say I was a little hesitant at first to book this condo as it is facing a field (and not the pool). For our family, it is the perfect location for the condo. Depending when you are visiting, you have a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise from the lanai. It is quiet, peaceful and private on the lanai. (If you are on the pool side - you do not get this). A few other perks of this condo - everything you need for cooking (from utensils to pots and pans to crock pots to wine glasses), everything and anything you can think of -is in the cupboards. Closet full of beach goodies - stock with beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, snorkel gear...it's all there! For the little ones- pack and play, booster seat, potty, little stools! It's wonderful! And lastly, the pictures you see of the condo and the resort are accurate - our last visit was January 2014. Resort: Immaculate! It is exactly what you see on the photos, the resort is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beach: love this beach! The lagoons are perfect for little ones! No big waves! It's quiet and it is not crowded.
We found the condo at Ko Olina Oahu very nice, and had a lot of fun. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect, like having three hotel rooms. The kitchen was updated and spacious. The balcony or lanai was also very spacious with ample seating. The view was ok with a glimpse of the Ocean. The condo complex was right on the beach and the lagoons were awesome, especially for the children. We were even able to snorkel in the lagoons and see some fish. The pools at the condo were very nice. You need to rent a car, but the stores such as Costco or Wal-Mart are only a few minutes drive away. There are some stores and restaurants at Ko Olina but limited. We would for sure recommend this place; we really enjoyed our stay there and a wonderful time.
The Condo was great! There were seven if us and we had plenty if space and it was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable especially( due to having lower back issues) for me. Being a cook, I was more than satisfied with the kitchen having everything necessary for meal preparation. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pools were great. I lived the idea if the "quiet pool". The resort itself is wonderful! I loved all the local shoppes me restaurants. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Hawaii
We have just returned from staying at this Villa, we had the most wonderful time, the Villa was clean and spacious and had everything in it we could ask for and more, the booking of this Villa was made easy by the owner Damien and the new check in process was great. The two pools and the spas by the Lagoon pool were awesome and we had the bonus of a pool bar. The Villas are right on the beach and the beach was not crowded at all. The Villas are quieter than the hotels near by which suites us just fine, We could walk a few minutes to the other hotels if we wanted to dine at the reatuarnats but mostly we just Barbequed or had burgers on the beach. The Villas are 10 mins at most by car into the town of kapolei which has everything, Costco, safeway, Target, walmart and more as well as many restaurants and take out places which was great. we were 5 Minutes from wet and wild and less than 10 min from Waikele factory outlets, its only 30 mins from waikiki and 40 mins from north shore.. the Villas are wonderful and we will definately be back,,
“In the Heart of Paradise”
First, let me say that a trip is only as good as the condo owners you are dealing with; Damian is very accessible and will help in every aspect of making your stay enjoyable. The condo is very modern/up-to-date, clean and comfortable. We had nine people (includes 3 young grandchilren) and everybody had enough room. The swimming pools are beautiful as are the gardens and resort areas. The beach is a short walk through the pool area (5 minutes). At the beach there are several lagoons for snorkling and swimming that are netted off from the main ocean. The kids had a blast. We will be back.
“Perfect Vacation Spot!”
Wow! The Beach Villas are a great place to vacation and this unit was amazing. We loved that it was on the back side of the building rather than overlooking the pool. We had an unobstructed view out to the ocean from the lanai. I can't think of anything that would make this unit any more desirable. The layout was wonderful for us. My kids and I traveled with my parents. My parents were able to have the master bedroom on one side of the condo while my kids and I had the two bedrooms on the opposite end. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and it was great having the beach chairs and the boogie boards too. Our interaction with the owner, Damian was great. He was very helpful and very easy to deal with. His property manager, Eric was very thorough in his explanation of the unit and let us know he would be there in case we needed anything during our stay. My sister and her family stayed next door at The Marriott. That is a gorgeous location and we enjoyed a great meal and live music one night at Longboards, their restaurant that is located beach front. If you are looking for crowds, The Marriott is where you want to be. My kids actually spent an afternoon at The Marriott with their cousins in the swimming pool and they said they didn't want to go back because it was so crowded. The beach at their lagoon was the same way. Granted, it was spring break so maybe it isn't normally like that, but it made us very grateful to be staying at the Beach Villas with the uncrowded pools and beach. Other great things on our vacation . . . . Malasada's at Leonards, The Polynesian Cultural Center (this was actually the favorite activity for my entire family), Pearl Harbor, The Pacific aviation Museum and The Missouri. My kids loved the swap meet at the stadium. A great place to get affordable souvenirs! One final note on how great this vacation was - no one was ready to go home - that is the true indicator of a great vacation!
We stayed in September 2012, I am always concerned when it is a new place as am very fussy, the unit was fantastic I could not fault anything, it had everything you could think of and more, I loved that it had the outdoor setting on the Lanai as we ate outside most times, We were greated by Gabrielle who showed us how everything in the unit worked and advised us on places to eat anything we needed she was there to help. You do need a car however we knew that prior to our stay, it's only 10 minutes to Costco and Safeway and Pearlridge and the outlets are close by. The kids loved wet and wild which was only a short drive down the road. We were able to walk to paradise cove luau, an abc store and an ice cream shop are within walking distance. We had brunch at the Marriott and dinner at the Disney resort both are a short stroll along the beach path. We only stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer, the whole experience was wonderful the unit great and Damian was extremely helpful, we enjoyed it so much we will be booking again in 2013.
“Alaska to Ko olina”
Wonderful unit and location! Our family of six wanted to stay in Oahu, but not in busy Wakiki. We found Ko Olina Villas to be a perfect fit. We arrived about 8:30pm and were greeted by Eric, who was very professional and helpful in showing and explaining the details of the unit. He also gave us several pages of suggested shopping, eating and sigh seeing locations. The unit itself is a very nice three bedroom unit with a dining table that seats eight. Really there is everything you need and more than you expect. The location is on the West side and very close to Costco, Down to Earth grocery, really convenient! Daily swimming in the pool and lagoon was terrific, we saw lots of fish and turtles. If you are facing the ocean, the turtles seemed to hang out were the ocean enters the lagoon. We also saw a mongoose, a first for us. You will receive rfid keys that let you into the building and through the pool gates and back into the property from the beach, so you feel secure. There is a covered parking space located for your car, which is close to the unit and keeps your car out of the sun. There were beach chairs, floaty things, a few sets of mask and snorkel, beach mats etc. Even car wash, which we didn't use but if we were there longer, would have, the salt air tends to put a coat on the car windows. My wife an I and four children, 18. 17, 12 and 11 enjoyed the three bath rooms, private master plenty. The balcony faces an open field, and you can see the water, not a water front location, but no rooms across looking into your room either. I will stop there, really had a great time and would rent the same unit again without any hesitation.
Response from the owner Thank you for being our guests. We are very happy that you had a great time. The lagoons make for wonderful snorkling. Every year the sealife in the lagoon grows. I forgot about the Down to Earth grocery. I need to mention it in the information we send out to our guests. Costco is great but if you want small batches of spices and foods they have great selection of organic/fresh foods. When we bought the condo we decided that we wanted a quiet location, especially since we like to eat out on the lanai for most of our meals. It seems it was a wise choice as the Beach Villas becomes more and more popular since we do not have to deal with the noise around the pool area. When you get tired of your long winter we hope to see you again. All the Best, Damian & Anna Marie
“Feb 2012 vacation with 2 other families and 3 toddlers”
We had the best time at this beautiful villa!!! We went with 2 other families which was perfect for this 3 bedroom, 3 full bath condo. Excellent location. Close to the Disney Resort and the JW marriott. The best part about this vacation was how accessible the beach was from this condo. If you wanted to enjoy the pools (both pools were absolutely gorgeous) you could. If you wanted the beach, it was right there. The beach is very nice and secluded and private and not crowded. You have access to other lagoons near the disney resort and the jw marriott as well. Damian was great from the very beginning to the very end. Damian was very professional and friendly. He was very responsive and reliable. The condo is modern, clean, very well furnished and roomy. It was so comfortable that we felt like we were home. The only downside in beginning was that we had issues with the dryer (laundry). So we called Eric the manager and he quickly sent someone over to get it fixed. Talk about great service!! All the families loved the villa and would definitely stay there again. The vacation was way too short. Would have loved to stay another week. Thanks so much Damian for allowing us to get a taste of your paradise. =)
“Nicer than we expected”
It's always hard to decide on a rental, sight unseen. After searching for sometime for a place to take our parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, we selected this one at Ko 'Olina. The photos in the ad, do not do the property justice. We were happily surprised at the deluxe accommodations, and the on site manager was very helpful and informative when showing the unit. Our stay was wonderful and our parents had a once in a lifetime experience. Owner is very responsive to our questions. To be very honest. The only issue I had was with one shower that leaked on the floor and had a very tight shower space. However, being the host, only my wife and I used this washroom. The other couples using the other washrooms did not have any issues.
