“Great Family Vacation to San Francisco”
Our stay was outstanding. The apartment was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 small children. The kids loved the bunk beds and single bed in the 2nd bedroom. The parents liked the included bottle of wine to help relax after getting them to bed. The rental also came with a bowl of fruit which was really nice as well. The neighborhood was very nice with restaurants within a short walking distance. The kids also loved just walking to go out to eat. The apartment had several touches that were greatly appreciated by our small (Years: 9, 6, 2 and 4 months)children. The apartment has coat hooks at both the normal parent height and smaller children's height, it had several kid friendly Dvds and books. My daughter read through the "What to do in San Francisco with kids" book she found in the apartment and discovered the Marine Mammal Rescue Center in Marin county as something to do, which we took in on a rainy day and she loved. In addition, the kids (and parents) liked having real cable TV so we could catch up on the shows we never have time to watch together "On Demand" after a day of sight seeing. In addition, in a pinch it was nice to be able to put Dora the explorer on for our 2 year old:) Our family also likes to run in the morning. It was great to be able to run either through Golden Gate park if you went one way or the Presidio if you ran in the other direction. On one run we went to Baker Beach for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Being able to park in the garage was also a bonus. Victoria took time to show us the unit when checking in which we also appreciated. She really made us feel at home:) We had a great time!
“Couldn't Have Been Nicer”
We reserved this apartment for the purpose of taking two exchange students to see the Golden Gate Park/Ocean Beach/Sea Cliff area of San Francisco and for visiting a friend undergoing treatment in Ucsf. It is an easy walk to these attractions (drive to Ucsf) with lots of great restaurants that you can walk to on Geary and Clement. Grocery Outlet and other markets also walking distance. Safeway a short drive. We love the neighborhoody feeling of the Outer Richmond district. We were cheerfully greeted by Peter, who guided us into our own parking spot in a secure garage in the building and gave us a welcoming tour of the property and apartment. The apartment was absolutely perfect for the 4 of us - two 50-somethings and two 17-year-old exchange students. I can't say enough about how thoughtfully appointed the apartment is, with dishes, pots pans, wine glasses, appliances, tvs in each bedroom and living area - even a computer and printer available! The owners stock the kitchen with fresh coffee beans to grind, fresh fruit in a tiered arrangement on the kitchen table and a bottle of lovely California wine. The neighborhood seems super safe and quiet at night, even with the fire house across the street. There were a few fire calls the second night, but the firemen just pull the engines out quietly and don't turn on the sirens until they are a few blocks away in a more commercial zone. (We had fun watching the firemen wash the engines in the street on Saturday morning.) We will definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Taya and Peter. We could feel your welcoming hospitality.
“Fantastic apartment for SF vacation”
One of the best vacation rentals at which we have ever stayed The apartment was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Fully stocked with items you normally need to buy-dish washing soap, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, even shampoo! Organic coffee beans, fruit and Ghirardelli chocolates also were supplied. Victoria greeted us with maps and invaluable information on getting around which made our stay go smoothly. Completely safe neighborhood with grocery and restaurants within a block or two. We highly recommend this apartment!
“It was 5 stars for us”
This was the first time we took a vacation rental rather than staying at a hotel and we couldn't be happier. The location in outer Richmond was very convenient for us because we wanted to be near Golden Gate Park. We didn't realize when we rented the unit how great being on the Geary bus line would be. We were able to reach all parts of the city and the Bart from there, easily. It was so nice to relax in the evenings and watch movies while eating takeout from the areas many ethnic restaurants. There was plenty of room for four adults. We thought 3 TVs was excessive, but I'm sure others need them all. The apartment was a top floor walk up, had a full kitchen and a parking space. If you can't do the stairs or want a super-fancy, super-modern place this is not for you. It was perfect for us. The provided fruit and wine were nice, but the 2 bus passes were even better. We would definitely rent this apartment again if we get to revisit SF.
A party of 3 from Taiwan planned a trip to the west coast. We had a wonderful stay! I been to a few places in Europe, and all over the states, this is the best place I stayed, and at a good price. Honestly, I was a little bit scared when Taya asked us to pay the full amount up front before arriving at SF, but it was worth the risk. The apartment was nicer than I expected, so folks, don't be scared!!
“This was a great place to stay”
We stayed here on a trip to SF for a family wedding. We arrived late at night and were met by Peter, who took us on a tour of the unit. It was obvious that they have put a priority on providing a comfortable environment for their tenants. We enjoyed our stay and when we are back in the area, we will definitely try to get this place again. Our only concern was we had my 93 year old Mother-in-law with us for a night but she managed the stairway fine (we were on 4th floor) and also loved the place.
Great apartment, in a great location. Hosts met us and showed us through everything in the apartment and gave us tips on getting around in our first trip to San Francisco. Very comfortable and spacious, nice outlook and very light. Well equipped with everything a family would need. Fantastic location whether walking up to Golden Gate Park, bus downtown or by car to most parts of SF. Would stay again.
“Birthday family get together”
We stayed 4 nights. In #4 everything . This was the most well supplied place we have ever stayed in. The quality of everything great. They have thought of everything you might need to cook with. The fruit basket, wine and great checkin by Mr. Katz was a wonderful welcome. You can't go wrong by choosing this apartment.
“Great place to stay”
I absolutely loved the apartment. It was comfortable in every way. The beds are comfortable. They have organic coffee beans that make one of the best San Francisco coffee I ever had. Make a long story short it feels like home.
“A good experince”
My experience with the owner and property is absolutely only a good experience. From booking, - to checkin, - to fruit and wine in the property.. to checkout and return of deposit. Nice and friendly people :) Firestation on the other site of the road, but not noise. We will absolutely be back !!
