Looking for a unique place to spend your unforgettable holiday with family or friends, SOMBRAS DEL VIENTO (Shadows of the Wind) is the ideal home for your dream.

This beach house is located on Soliman Bay, one of the most beautiful bays of the Riviera Maya situated along the second largest coral reef in the world. The Caribbean breaks just outside the bay, replete with natural beauty, sea life and the splendor of the reef.

Soliman Bay Nearby, Tulum is a lively seaside town with restaurants, shopping and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.


• Occupancy: Sleeps up to 16 adults + 2 children (max 18 guests, no extra guests allowed)

Thanks to its original design, it can accommodate up to 16 people in a spirit of total independence and user-friendly.

This villa is nestled between the lush tropical garden and Soliman Bay, a beautiful nature Reserve.

It will allow you to relax while admiring the magnificent colors of the Caribbean or to take a dip in the sea-view swimming pool

Its blend of natural materials (exotic woods, palapa) with luxurious (marble, granite), and its willingness to enjoy at every moment of the presence of the sea makes it one of the nicest houses in Soliman Bay.

The villa is divided into 3 separate areas is a great plus. Divided enough to give some privacy...but together enough for spending time together.

The 3 units are :

-MISTRAL : On the second level, you will be amazed with the beauty of the panorama that awaits you. Large areas , an outside living room or covered terraces, allow you to enjoy all together (16 persons) for meals or rest, facing the turquoise waters of the sea.

You will love the wide open living spaces and hand-picked decoration.

2 large bedrooms with a.c and private bathroom complete the package.

One, with a KS bed facing the sea. The other , with a QS bed and own terrace facing the tropical garden .

On the top floor, under the palapa, a Caribbean atmosphere is assured. You will discover a large KS bedroom with bathroom. It also has a private terrace where you will enjoy the beautiful picture-frame view of the bay.

Sombras del Viento counts with a final sea view room with 2 single beds and bathroom.

The rest of the space has been converted into a games room with pool table, chess and darts.

On the ground floor:

-BORA has a living room with American style kitchen fully furnished & 1KS bedroom,1 convertible sofa, with a large covered desk overlooking the beach.

One, with a KS bed facing the sea. The other , with a QS bed and own terrace facing the tropical garden .

-SIROCCO has a living room with American style kitchen fully furnished, 1 KS bedroom room facing the sea & a 2nd room with 1 QS and 1 single beds facing the tropical garden and a large terrace facing the beach.

Each room on the ground floor has a private bathroom and air conditioning.


Your Personal On-Site Staff:

We provide a Concierge House Manager, Private Chef, Live-in 24/7 Groundskeeper, and daily Housekeeping (except Sunday). While Sombras del Viento is an independent vacation experience within a private home, our staff will welcome you upon arrival, keep things tidy and make sure all the little touches are just right. Linens and towels changed every 3 days, bathrooms and kitchen cleaned daily. Chef service includes 3 meals per day, Sundays are extra, and groceries are not included.

Gourmet Kitchen:

We provide water-coolers for drinking/cooking, and locally sourced coffee and some welcome snacks. Grocery stores for all your needs are easily located in Tulum and grocery shopping can be coordinated with your chef.

Add-on Amenities:

Our Concierge House Manager can help you plan activities, in-home masseuse, spa treatments, airport shuttles, car rentals, and more.

The owners will help make sure your booking is all sorted out, and then will introduce you to your Concierge House Manager and your Personal Chef. They'll ensure everything is ready for your arrival and will tend to you during your stay.

We recommend working with our Concierge House Manager to book an Airport Shuttle from the Cancun Airport. She can also help you arrange your car rental, and have it delivered to Sombras del Viento.

If Loic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
