“Great Place to Stay!”

Reviewed 6 May 2013

Upon arival to your unit for our 7 day stay, we found it to be immaculate, spotless, and exactly as described in photos online. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked for all our needs. The beds were very comfortable. There were many beach items as well as closet space for our use. We appreciated your phone call, Bhavesh, after arriving, to make sure we were comfortable. The highlight of our stay in your unit was the location directly on the ocean. Daily we enjoyed watching the surfers and the turtles directly from our balcony from morning to night, and the spectacular sunsets every night. The location was close to beaches, shopping and restaurants, yet far enough away from the hub bub of downtown traffic. We hope to come back someday soon.

“"Home away from home" Unit #401 Banyan Tree”

We enjoyed a full week at this condo with our family of 4, including our daughters, 8 and 11. Everything was just as described- very clean, air conditioned and stocked with many extra's. We made good use of the beach towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, snorkels and boogie boards! The condo was very roomy with a great lanai where we could enjoy our breakfast or happy hour watching the surfers and boogie boarders. Our girls had their own bed room and bath room. The kitchen had many appliances, pots and pans including a toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, oven, etc. The laundry facilities were easy to use and detergent was provided. There was plenty of closet and drawer space in the bed rooms. We enjoyed the sound of the surf and waking up looking at the ocean and palm trees. Our girls also made use of the pool downstairs. It was never crowded in the condo complex or by the pool. The condo is located very centrally close to the town of Kona, which has a Safeway, Walmart, Costco, etc to get supplies. We made several outings to the nearby beaches and drove south around the island to the volcano. We ate out several times at the Kona Brewing Company, Kona Canoe Club and Huggo's on the rocks. We even had a bowling night at KB Extreme. The Royal Kona resort luau was very nice- food was good and the show was excellent. I would highly recommend this unit for families with children or anyone wanting more space than a hotel room! Our host Bhavesh was very friendly and responsive and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

“The perfect vacation at Banyan Tree # 401!”

At the Banyon Tree you will find the best views of the ocean from the west wall of windows. In the mornings, catch the surfers riding a morning wave. The unit overlooks one of the few spots for surfing on the whole west coast. This balcony is also ideal for viewing the last rays of sunshine as the sun sets over a gorgeous ocean. Watch for the green flash! If you are the adventurous type, you will be happy to know that you have easy access to some great adventures; Kayaking, surfing, hiking, sight-seeing, and my personal favorite, cliff-diving. Just south of the Banyon Tree you can find a place to challenge your inner fears of falling. Take the plunge or just enjoy the scenery. Either way, I encourage you to find The End of the Earth. Being a vegan makes life as a tourist a little more difficult. At the Banyon Tree I was able to cook my own meals with simple ingredients that are found around the corner. Come back to the Banyon Tree after a long day, clean up, and set out for an interesting night on the town for food, music, or shopping.
