The Pod House is a self-catering purpose built villa designed as a romantic retreat for couples, a stones throw from Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort. The Pod House is the sister property to the House of Bamboo. A contemporary design with organic natural features, set on the shores of Savusavu bay. You enter through your own private courtyard with marble tiled saltwater pool, with living and dining pods on either side. You can lay in the king sized bed and look out over the pool towards Savusavu Bay, choose between the outdoor shower or large rockfaced indoor shower.... with daybeds around the house you can choose between lazing in the sun or shade.... the amazing part of this layout is that once you step inside it is completely private ... you can walk around as nature intended and the only other person that will see you is the person you are with. The Pod House has been tastefully designed and will satisfy the most discerning traveller, you will feel like you are staying in a very high end resort without having to share it with anyone else !!!! The perfect destination for the most secluded romantic getaway !!!! Complimentary kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bruce/Jen (the owner) a message.

If Bruce/Jen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
