Description

This holiday is for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Giniginamar is one of the least touristy villages and the foreigners that are here are largely expats.
The house is located high up the hillside having its own garden.
Having only one bedroom (with on-suite) it is ideal for couples.
There is a bed sofa in the lounge so four could be accomodated short term. Although there is a good restaurant - Don Carlos, currently there are no shops at all.
Luckily Gran Tarajal, the provincial town just a short drive away can cater for most needs, even here there are not many tourists.
For the energetic you can walk to Gran Tarajal over the cliffs with the reward of a fresh fish lunch.
A car here though is pretty essential if you want to do any exploring, car hire is reasonably priced.

Response from the owner Thanks to this review, amongst others, we became aware that the cleaning and management were not up to standard. We spent a fortnight there ourselves (we don't live on the island) renovating the house and finding new staff.. We have now engaged a great team of people including professional cleaners, who started by deep cleaning and will now maintain a high standard. We're sorry if some previous guests experienced a less than perfect stay, but have done all possible to ensure that future guests will be more than happy and find the house to be as they expect.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
