Charming house In a compound consisting of two houses in the green rolling hills of Bearsville. It's 5 mins to Woodstock Village Green. Heated, saltwater pool, outdoor (hot water) shower, hot tub, fireplace. Renovated in a relaxed lodge style. Local Spa 5 mins away to relax your mind spirit and body. Come and rejuvenate yourself in the relaxing compound, set in landscaped grounds surrounded by flowering apple trees. There is a 1 bedroom, 1bath guest house & 2 bedroom, 1 bath main house, you can rent either or both together see the 'guest house' listing to book it separately. Perfect for all four seasons. The tree-ringed houses are in the peaceful hamlet of Bearsville. It is perfectly private without being isolated, spend all day and night in the restful grounds or go into town for dinner or drinks. There are a pair of cute local fresh produce markets one walkable, one a bike ride away also great farmers market in the village. Comfortable, modern furnishings, antiques, and art throughout the interiors. The property is set back from the road down a long driveway, next to a old-world farm. Fully fenced private property with gate. Well-behaved pets considered. Well-appointed open living room with windows and skylights. central heating plus wood-burning fireplace (wood provided). Brand new kitchen, dishwasher, and Microwave, all stocked with the basics. Spa-like bathroom with a lovely deep tub and a skylight, relax in while gazing at the stars. 2 Sunny double bedrooms - one King bed one queen bed. The spacious dining area seats 6. Flat-screen TV & Wi-Fi in Main house & iPod dock. - Hairdryer, Soaps, fresh new linens & towels provided. Woodsy open living room with a fireplace. There is a sunroom to relax in that leads out onto a suntrap patio with a dining table. A favorite room is the dining room, like an old fashioned Captain's cabin wood-lined and super cozy for the best dinner parties, a room for passing the port and telling tall tales. Local swimming holes a short drive away, or just stay home and relax in the hammocks or swim in the saline pool. 2 bikes available for use. And of course great skiing we are in a triangle of ski resorts (Hunter, Belleayre, and Windham). Yoga mats and blocks etc. also available. Yoga and Pilates classes in town. Local spa less than a mile away. Woodstock art college offers arts and crafts classes. There are also local wineries and vintage shopping in Saugerties. Rock climbing nearby in Minnewaska State Park. Omega Institute offers classes, and two Buddhist monasteries are close by and offer day meditation visits.

We have two houses on the property you may rent one or both and have the whole compound. There are 2 bedrooms in the main house and 1 bed in the guest house, both have full baths. We are recently renovated and have all modern conveniences while keeping the charm in a relaxed Lodge style. We provide a very full house manual - check out list - and a "FUN list" of things to do in the area! We are available by text or phone all day! We leave you keys and can have our caretaker pop over if you need anything! Read our reviews - We get 5 stars! Oh and a 40x20 saline heated pool and hot tub! walkable to cocktails at Dixon's Roadside and The Bear compound just around the corner.
