Description

The Scallywag Beach House is a pet-free, smoke-free home located in a woodsy setting near Spring Lake, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Well cared for with local ownership, this bright and cheery, two-story beach house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, brand new flooring on the main level, a nicely-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, WI-FI Internet access and a washer/dryer. In the backyard you will find a picnic table, gas grill and fire pit for roasting marshmallows on those beautiful summer nights.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to prepare your own meals—dishes, pots and pans, silverware, utensils, blender, coffee maker, bean grinder, microwave, etc.

The three bedrooms are located on the second floor.The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third room has a full over full bunk bed (150 pound weight limit on top bunk). .

When you're not beach combing there is lots to do at The Scallywag--foosball, darts, Atari retro game system with games, flat screen TVs with satellite cable and the ability to stream from a selection of thousands of movies, a DVD/Blu-ray player, board games and puzzles, and a read one/leave one library when you want to cozy up with a book. There is also a selection of local guide books for hiking and exploring the area.

For the little ones, a closet full of toys, a high chair, stroller, baby gate, hiking back pack, and Graco Portable Crib/Play Yard with upgraded sleeping mattress have been provided for use during your stay.

Cancellation policy: 50% refund if canceled more than 30 days from check in. 25% refund if canceled two weeks prior to check-in. If you need to cancel with less than two weeks from your arrival, we will refund any days we are able to re-rent.

Fees: An $95.00 cleaning fee applies to all bookings.

Other policies: No pets. smoking or house parties.

While there are beach access points in town (and all along 101), there are also beach access points right across 101 by the Scallywag that let you out right in front of the Twin Rocks. It is an easy couple of minute walk...no need to drive, park, or walk into town to enjoy the beach.
