Our lake house is located in incomparable Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and great restaurants! Our lake house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Orielle. Does your perfect vacation involve parking your car when you arrive and not getting in it again until you leave? Waking up to 270 degree views of the lake and mountains? Mooring your boat on your own private dock (with boat lift) where your kids can spend the whole day and never get bored? Walking through tree lined streets on your short stroll into town to enjoy a coffee, glass of wine or relaxing lunch? Tearing through huge powder at an amazing ski mountain and then returning to your lakefront retreat in town where you can enjoy the water and lake even in the winter? Whatever the season or activity our 3 bedroom lake house in Sandpoint is the perfect home base for a relaxing, fun filled break. Sandpoint has a unique energy that will draw you in and make you want to come back again and again.Our lake house vacation home is right on spectacular Lake Pend Orielle. All the water sports, swimming and sandy beach fun you want is right at your doorstep. The house is in easy walking distance to downtown Sandpoint. Feel like a coffee? Starbucks, or one of the great local coffee shops, is an 8 minute walk. Dinner out? Sandpoint is home to some really great (and affordable) restaurants that are right up the street. Want to grab an ice cream? City beach or First Ave is a 10 minute walk. Feel like checking out the local shops? The downtown business district is also right down the street. Other local attractions include Schweitzer Mountain Resort (20 minute drive), Silverwood amusement park (30 minute drive), the Sandpoint Marina and dozens of great area hiking, biking, fishing and boating opportunities.

Getting around

Our lake house is easy walking distance from restaurants, bars, shopping and food stores. If you want to park the car and walk everywhere it is totally an option! If you want to venture a little farther a car would be your best option.

Interaction with guest

We do not live in Sandpoint so unfortunately we will not be there to welcome you upon your arrival but we do have a full team who looks after our property and are available to address any concerns. You will receive a comprehensive welcome package from us before your arrival along with directions and access instructions. Should you have concerns or questions leading up to your stay or upon arrival we are always available by phone , text or email.

The mild temperatures through the winter and shoulder seasons really make Sandpoint an all year destination.
