“Holidays in Grand Cayman”
We stayed at this home in December with six adults and two young children. The house sits on a quiet road on one side and the beach on the other. The kitchen is well equipped, and we used it to eat in most nights. The pool is right off the deck. There is also a hot tub, which can be used to heat the pool. The property managers are friendly and helpful. You can snorkel right off the beach, but it is shallow and rocky and there are many large sea urchins you will have to dodge when you walk out. There is a grocery store a short drive away. Traffic on the island can be quite congested and the roads are mostly two lane.
“Perfect Paradise Getaway at Present Moment in Grand Caymans”
We stayed at Present Moment for our group vacation and thought the property was gorgeous. It is conveniently located in Bodden Town which is outside the main tourist routes in Georgetown but close enough so that we could pop into town everyday. The rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Everything was in great condition and very clean. It was a 5 star experience with all the comforts of home. Bodden Town also provided us with a few surprises. There are local mom/pop dining shops right out of people's homes and the food out of these shops were hands down better than any of the restaurants we ate at in Georgetown. There was a local fruit stand that was the absolute highlight of our stay. Sonya was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend Present Moment to anyone that is looking to stay in the Grand Caymans.
“Fantastic Home - Great Location”
Fantastic home, great location! From the Bodden Town location you can be anywhere on the island in 30 minutes. There is a great grocery store in Savanna also aTM, liquor store, hardware store just about anything you could need 10 minutes away. Then there's Rankin's (closer, maybe 5 minutes) for the best jerk, beans and rice you can get. Be sure to put this on your list, it's take out so enjoy it at home. Molly has done an exceptional job with the house. We were a family of 10, 6 adults and four grandchildren. The bedrooms are large and comfortable each has a very nice bathroom - luxury towels and wonderful linens on the beds also pleanty of beach towels. We all felt like we were in a high end resort without all the people. The 4 granddaughters loved their bedroom and private bath. At the end of the day, when they were exhausted from the ocean and the pool they could relax on their beds and watch TV or just play in the spacious room. Best of the best - all of us loved the outdoor patio (wonderful furniture), infinity pool and hot tub. Actually we were outside 90% of the time. The girls were in the pool nearly all of the time we were at the house and the adults loved the hot tub at the end of the day. Nothing like relaxing under the stars with a beautiful moon. The outdoor cooking area is fantastic, sink, fridge, great grill and even a hidden trash bin for convenience. The kitchen is adequately stocked with everything you could want and we were very appreciative of the Tervis tumblers for pool side drinks. The adults enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker, but there's also a very nice traditional coffee maker if you want to make a large pot, also a tea pot. We had a small incident with the microwave but Pam and Steve (property managers) were right there and had everything working in a very short time. We found them to be very helpful and attentive to any need we had. Present Moment is a gem, has everything you could want and more. Great job Molly!!!
I lived on the island for a year many years ago. This is a great spot and a great place to stay. Incredible pool and spa with a great view every morning. Everything you could want is provided by the owners. Grill, blenders, all kitchen utensils, etc. It's not the cheap stuff either. There is not a bug problem at all here either. Some places you stay at on the island will have ants or various bugs. Also, the owners are incredible. They actually are concerned about your stay and want to make sure they everything to make your stay great. Oh ya, cable TV and great internet with Wifi. Can't beat it!
“Awesome vacation Home!”
My famnily and I stayed at Present Moment for one week and it wa snot long enough! The house is close to everything and yet in a quiet location. There is always a breeze and it really keeps the temperature bearable during the summer months. The pool is gorgeous. The hot tub and the shallow area are really a bonus! We have been to Grand Cayman many times and rented other houses -but this by far has been the best yet.
“Luxury house with plenty of space and ammenities”
Our group of 6 adults (3 couples) stayed at Present Moment over the July 4th week. The house was absolutely fabulous. Gorgeous location with high class luxury amenities like Tempurpedic beds, en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom, and satellite tv with virtually every channel. There were plenty of beach towels, bathroom towels, outside chairs. Having wi-fi was incredibly convenient as well as a free phone to call the us. There's also a Keurig (which we noticed in pictures) so bring your K-cups! We also appreciated that the property manager - who was also fantasic and/or cleaners left previous guests leave-behinds (spices, canned goods, etc). The only downside was that restaurants weren't very close to the house and a cab for 6 of us to go 4 miles was fairly expensive (~$50) because most of them have to come from Georgetown to pick you up. All and all, a truly luxury vacation with lots of relaxation and fun.
