Bliss, luxury, and pampering is waiting for you at Villa Sofia, located in beautiful Las Terrenas. This chic and modern villa is located in the exclusive gated community of Cap Bonita, just 80 meters away from the beach.

From the courtyard entrance to the expansive outdoor areas, 3 swimming pool, cabana, Pirates Island in the pool, outdoor shower, swim-out Jacuzzi Guest Suite, and ocean beyond, Villa Sofia is bathed in exquisite reflections.

Begin each morning with sunrise over the sparkling water. Villa Sofia welcomes you with multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas, a gourmet kitchen, outdoor bar, and 5 guest suites. Your every need and comfort will be met by our villa staff of 5.



Choices for on-site dining include our outdoor bar, an indoor large formal dining room, or the outside dining area on the covered terrace; or the cabana by the pool. There are plenty of great restaurants just outside the Cap Bonita gates.



The villa has flat screen TV’s throughout where you can watch movies or satellite U.S. stations. Books, Wi-Fi, music, video games, CDs, DVDs, etc… Villa Sofia is equipped with high performance video systems.

There are plenty of terraces to sunbathe and a poolside cabana for when you need some shade. Enjoy an evening cocktail at the outdoor bar.

The Jacuzzi Suite has a swim-out Jacuzzi, right out the bedroom door. The Jacuzzi has a beautiful waterfall coming off a brick wall.

The Underwater Pool Suite looks directly into the swimming pool. The pool is built high enough off the ground so that the suite is on a lower level with a direct view inside the pool.



The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful granite and Viking stainless steel appliances.



Enjoy swimming in 1 of the 3 infinity pools. Relax in the Jacuzzi overlooking the water, or sunbathe in any of the chaise lounges or the outdoor poolside cabana. The expansive outdoor living area will provide hours of entertainment, spectacular views, privacy and relaxation.



Our home has beautiful tropical gardens. The villa is just 80 yards from the beach with easy access to stroll along the shore, pick up shells, or watch the whales.

Villa Sofia is a wonderful property! Every room is decorated to perfection with its own unique features. The main living spaces are comfortable and relaxing. The pools are perfect for lazing or swimming laps. The house is well equipped, as described on the website. I can't say enough for the staff of Villa Sofia! Josephina and Lala made our stay exceptional. They were helpful and kind, and kept the house clean and well maintained. We had Josephina grocery shop and cook us breakfast daily. We also hired Luis and Josephina to cook us dinner four nights of our stay and it was fabulous! Michel, who is extremely pleasant, informative, helpful and responsive, did an exceptional job organizing our stay at the house. His website is very helpful in planning a trip to the area. We were delighted to meet the owner Patrick, who was also wonderful to work with. He put a lot of thought into the design, layout and comfort of guests when he built and furnished this home. In our opinion, Villa Sofia sits in the best location of Las Terrenas for a relaxing vacation. It is in a quaint neighborhood within walking distance to some boutique like hotels and restaurants that run along Playa Bonita. When you walk to the beach you can pick Playa Bonita or Playa Coson. I would recommend making plans to see the area; it's a fascinating place to see and the people of Las Terrenas are so nice. For activities we went horseback riding to El Limon, whale watching on the coast of Samana, had dinner in downtown Las Terrenas, and had massages at the house. While there is amazing snorkeling in the area, there is not any worthwhile snorkeling in walking distance of the house that we could find. The drinking water at the house was perfect! We all felt completely safe, everywhere we went, our whole trip. Everything about Villa Sofia was perfect for our group of 9 celebrating our 40th birthdays. I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation!
