From the courtyard entrance to the expansive outdoor areas, 3 swimming pool, cabana, Pirates Island in the pool, outdoor shower, swim-out Jacuzzi Guest Suite, and ocean beyond, Villa Sofia is bathed in exquisite reflections.

Begin each morning with sunrise over the sparkling water. Villa Sofia welcomes you with multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas, a gourmet kitchen, outdoor bar, and 5 guest suites. Your every need and comfort will be met by our villa staff of 5.

The Underwater Pool Suite looks directly into the swimming pool. The pool is built high enough off the ground so that the suite is on a lower level with a direct view inside the pool.

After 10 years of renting Villa Sofia and almost only 5* reviews, your reviews is really suspicious. Are you a jealous competitor or the victim of a fraud, I don't know. I have never been aware of any problem of this kind; we have always offered the highest level of service and what you describe is at the opposite of what we deliver. I then suspect you have been the victim of a scammer. I will ask to have this review removed if possible. To all our future guests, please read our long history of past reviews and discard this one. “Very Nice Place”

We stayed there Feb 13 to Feb 16. It was very nice stay. Olga and Josefina were great. The place needs a few upgrades which we heard are being done soon. Bedrooms are great, pools are great.

Response from the owner Jejjejjeee.... I was in Europe but had been informed of this little neighborhood incident ! First, Eduard, thank you for your nice comments about Villa Sofia and our team; they effectively usually do very well ! You are right, May and June are months with some mosquitoes, and any place in LT where you go, it is advised to have some repellent with you. That is the downside of tropical countries ! The SDQ airport is only 90mn from Villa Sofia with our chauffeur, not 2h30, but I guess you took an alternative road ! JetBlue used to land directly at Samana AZS from NYC, and we hope they'll be back here soon ! I sincerely apologize for the neighbor incident; this is unusual because it only happened a few times those last 10 years, and always with disrespectful guests playing music late in the night ! Maybe she was just tired that day. We are good friends, I will talk with them soon. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you. Patrick
