Description

This expansive 4-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Malta’s most chic and lively location. Sliema has been steadily rising into becoming Malta’s business and retail capital; with shops, shopping centers, restaurants and bars abounding. This location offers a bit of everything and is ideal for anyone who wishes to be at the center of all activity, while also being a stone’s throw away from other attractions.

The apartment is set on 170 m² and makes optimal use of the space provided. On the front side of the apartment, characterized by the striking sea and harbour view, one can find the open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, one flowing graciously into the other in a coherent and harmonious way. The décor is minimalistic and monochromatic, giving the whole area a modern and upscale feel. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooking, and comes decked with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils. The living and dining area are homogeneous, although both are outshined by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea which peeks through the curtains. The terrace off of the living and dining area comes with outdoor dining furniture as well, thus providing an alfresco dining facility ideal for sweltering summer nights. The Jacuzzi on the terrace is also an added feature to this property, and offers a beckoning tranquillity amidst the hustle and bustle of the town – you can relax with the dazzling view of the Harbour while life rushes by below.

The apartment consists of 4 bedrooms, all of which are decorated in a contemporary style, complimenting the rest of the apartment. There is a twin-bedroom off of the living area, providing a private enclave for anyone who would like to be set apart from the rest. The other bedrooms are located at the back part of the apartment, which overlooks a quiet side-street instead of the bustling sea-front. This location was an ideal option for bedrooms as it provides a virtually noise-free environment in which one can rest at ease. The main bedroom comes endowed with an en-suite bathroom, providing even more comfort. The other bedrooms share a family bathroom located on the same corridor. There is also a washing machine available for use in a separate area dedicated for laundry.

Moreover, there is an optional parking facility for anyone renting a car. Parking comes at an extra cost of 10 euro per night.

A refundable breakage deposit of 300euro is to be paid to the website and refunded again by the website.

Also please note that the price being paid for the property includes basic utilities:

- 200KWh- for 4 bedroom apartment

free per week with the apartment which is more than sufficient for a weekly stay. However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be exceeded, an extra charge will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges.

Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired.​

Monthly rate it is also available, please ask for quote. Also please do note the utilities are NOT included on a monthly rate but paid for as much as one consumes.

Long lets also available rates upon request from owner.

Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested.

Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night

up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands. This applies for 18-year-old and older.

Response from the manager Dear Mrs Rose Barns, Thanks for your review, as always we take seriously our clients’ concerns so we can better improve our service. It is true, that on your first day you sent note us an email listing 20 points about the apartment you were not happy with. I personally contacted you and we sorted all of the points that were physically possible. We agreed that many of the items on the list did not make any sense, requesting that we change a hand wash basin to one with a cabinet is not in the books. As we agreed at the time that the exact quality of the basin was fully illustrated in the photo and had you desired something different to store your medicine you should have at least asked beforehand, not come and expect us to change the basin during your one week stay. The idea to close the “hole” in the wall was also not possible as the “hole” was a covered ventilator. A ventilator is there to allow air to move in a room and is a sanitary requirement by law in Malta, all the rooms have a ventilator. The side of the ventilator are treated with pest control so nothing that crawls can enter the apartment and in fact although the weather was very hot during your stay, you found no crawlers not even an ant in the apartment. The bathrooms are connected to a shaft designed for airflow, the bathroom window does not need to be left open and the shaft is exclusive to the bathroom so we cannot understand how you could hear people talking in the bathroom. We discussed the toilet issue at length and we even went on site to check however nothing can be heard from the shaft. I am sorry you are disappointed for the refund, as you explained very well in your emails, in your previous trips, like the last one in Florence, the 20 point list proved successful and you got a full refund and a free holiday. This time however we would not help you, the 20 points mentioned in your complaint were not reasonable to the apartment’s owner, like for example to have mirrors everywhere, in all honesty we still tried to help and we did fit four mirrors in the apartment, only to have them removed after your stay as the next guests were a bit shocked at the sight. Once again I thank you for choosing our apartment, we are sorry we didn’t meet your expectation, we will surely try harder as after all our commitment is customer satisfaction, even in the most interesting cases.
