“Fantastic clean cabin set in a great nature!”

Reviewed 26 Nov 2012

We just returned from a one week stay in the above cabin. What a great find. The house was meticulously clean and has all the comforts from home. The setting is right in the middle of a beautiful pine forest but we found not one dirt speck and/or insect the house. Wow! Impressive! The owners are very easy to contact in case you have questions or there is a problem. The wireless internet shut down at some point, I sent a text to Steve and within minutes he replied to me how to solve the problem. The cabin is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, mountains to go skiing are all within easy reach. I would absolutely recommend this cabin for a refreshing away from it all vacation!

“Peaceful in rustic neighborhood”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2012

The cabin was very clean and well furnished. Very comfortable for 4 friends traveling the area. Owners were very responsive to a minor glitch. Tucked in a wooded "rustic" neighborhood so it may be a bit isolated if you are expecting people around you. No views at all except for the neighbors homes but it was almost a relief after looking at all the sights around the area of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Train was not a bother to me but one of my friends was disturbed at night. One hour to Grand canyon and about the same to Sedona... Loved the Elk in the farm field near the train tracks.

“We had a wonderful time at Racoon Cabin!!!”

“Raccoon Ranch made our vacation!”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2012

Raccoon Ranch was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation in the Southwest! The owners were wonderful to work with from the first email, getting access to the cabin, and our departure. We only stayed two days, but the cabin gave us a chance to truly relax in an amazingly comfortable place with as much or little of the comforts of home! We were pleasantly surprised that the cabin was convienently located to the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, AZ, which was the main reason for being in the Flagstaff area. Raccoon Ranch made our vacation the memory that we were looking for!

“The Perfect Place”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2012

We were so happy with the Moose Manor for our Family trip! While still there we talked about when we'll return! The location is perfect if you want to feel at home, yet close to town. The owners were good to work with & the home a joy to stay in!

“We really enjoyed our stay!”

“What we needed, and more than we expected”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2012

Ya never know what you're getting into when you rent a private cabin! This rental was for my Wife and I, 4 kids, and my parents. We wanted something other than the "usual" hotel experience. Let me tell ya, we got so much more than we expected! We arrived early, and the cleaning lady was just wrapping up. She was a sweetheart, and very helpful! When I walked through the door, it took my breath away. It was so appealing and lovely that I had to tell my kids to back off so they could all experience it together. Racoon Ranch is a true treasure. The pics don't do it justice. From the obvious things like the woods, the awesome patio and hammock, the giant windows and complete kitchen...to the little things, like the superior carpeting and furnishing, and plush racoons everywhere...and even the flatscreen with DVD and satellite, and screaming fast internet! Plenty of linens, books and Dvd's to use...I could go on and on. I have nothing negative and everything wonderful to say about the property, it's location, and the owners. As a footnote, my daughter got very ill (had a seizure) a couple of hours before we had to leave, and the owners couldn't have been more helpful or sympathetic. A classy cabin, with classy people. Loved it!
