Extra housekeeping available, as well as special catered in bungalow dining (Must be booked well in advance)! COMPARE OUR RATES TO THE RESORTS. The owners of the Black Pearl are proud to announce the acquisition and remodel of Marlon Brando's two famous Over water Bungalows. James Michener called Bora Bora 'The most beautiful island in the world. And it is, it really is. Bora Bora is one of the Society Islands in the South Pacific, Tahiti being the largest. It is only a seven and a half hour flight from Los Angeles and only three hours earlier PST. The same time zone as Hawaii. To get there, you take a direct flight to Tahiti and then a 45 minute island hopper to Bora Bora. You are now officially in paradise. Use your modern kitchen to prepare a meal, or dine out at the many fine restaurants on the island. The activities are endless if you wish to keep busy, or just lie down on the veranda, listen to the water and finish that 1000 page book you can't seem to finish. Life takes on new meaning when you are surrounded by the serenity and the beauty of Bora Bora. Come and see for yourself!

Response from the owner I am sorry that you had issues with our bungalow. The wifi on the island is now super fast, new pillows have been added as well as a brand new barbecue from the States. The views to me of the motus are beautiful and the sun sets right in front. Our clients have never had a issue with the furniture. The appliances are replaced constantly because of the salt air... Staying on a motu has huge draw backs, you are stuck there, would pay well over $2,000 a night for a 1200 square foot bungalow and the only way to visit the main island is by shuttle boat which the hotels charge a fee for. You can't take advantage of the many wonderful restaurants on the island, excursions, boutiques, etc. and cooking at home is really a treat in our home over the water. Having a car is necessary, but the whole island is only 19 miles around and most everything is 10 minutes away. We strive to improve constantly and see that your reservation was last November, 2015. Many things have been changed for the better since then. Thank you for your comments, we really appreciate your input...
