A Suite In the Great Smoky Mountains - 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2

This elegant studio, on the lower level of our home, overlooking Maggie Valley Country Club has stunning views of the mountains and valley. Features include: air conditioning and heating, stone fireplace, king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, covered rocking chair porch, private outdoor grill and dining area, easy paved access. Tastefully decorated with cottage style furniture and bedding. All the conveniences of home in a beautiful mountain setting at 3,300 ft.

This suite is one of my favorites! It is so clean and cozy! The location is ideal for getting around in the Maggie Valley, Waynesville, NC area. The view is spectacular!! Stan and Diane have done an awesome job in providing all that you need for your stay. I would highly recommend the Holden suite to anyone looking for a place to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and relaxing. Thanks Stan and Diane for sharing your beautiful home with me. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I enjoyed three (3) wonderful nights at this location. We were a little skeptical at first because we have never rented a suite in someone's home. The suite was the most well-maintained (clean) and well-stocked. The owners have thought of everything to make a visit comfortable and welcome. The location was convenient to the Maggie Valley Country Club and to restaurants. The front deck was a great place to relax and nap. We will most definitely rent this site again.

On arrival we were welcomed by Stan and Diane and shown the suite which was immaculate,the cleanliness is a tribute to hard work done to present a suite to a very high standard.What is provided for your comfort,enjoyment and entertainment,TV DVD Internet access and more area information leaflets than you will have time to read.What could be nicer than opening one eye in the morning a looking out the mountain scenery,opening both eyes.Breakfast at the table on the deck to start the day or a beer while rocking in the chair is a nice way to end the day.The only things you need to take is food for breakfast and a camera,we saw chipmunks,rabbits and lots of birds around the house.If you are visiting Maggie Valley get in touch with Stan and Diane.It was a pity we could not stay longer than we did but would be very happy to return.

Sorry I could not remember the dates we stayed.

Could not havve had a more pleasant stay

My wife and I just spent four wonderful nights at this property. It was down stairs in the same house as the owners but we hardly knew they were there, The unit was clean and all we could ask for was provided. It was very nicely appointed and the view as you look out of the unit or from the poarch is absolutely beautiful. We could have stayed the entire time without leaving the apartment and it still would have been a great trip. The owners have even provided a couple of binders showing local restaurants (with menus) and things to do in the area which was a great help. We would defnitely stay at this unit again and would recommend it to any couple looking for a nice getaway.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Coming to the area for both business and leisure, we wanted something different from the bustle of a hotel room. We found ourselves overwhelmed by the find in this rental. The views are spectacular, the location very central to the events and attractions we were there for, and the suite itself was very neat, inviting, and roomy. Many details of the area were offered by the Holdens, who were more than welcoming; going the extra mile to make the stay memorable, they were the perfect hosts. Welook forward to coming back.

We returned to the Smokey Mountains to ride motorcycles and sit on this deck! The views, the privacy, the central location, and the king size bed were great reasons to return to this suite. The dinner at Frankie's was yummy, We also lunched in charming Waynesville. You gotta see the Wheels Through Time Museum as well. Cooking on the charcoal grill that Stan and Diane provided, (they even had the charcoal!), was a treat as well. The Holdens are terrific hosts that give you local info and the space you need to relax. We're coming back!
