Description

In our experience the succes of a holiday to a large extent depends on the quality of your holiday home. We hope to offer you everything you would expect from a holiday appartment. Up till now our guests have given us the impression that we have succeeded. (hetgroenehuismonschau)

The most exciting aspect of this appartment is the view on the 'Rurtal'.

The appartment has a larger bedroom with a large double bed and a smaller room with two single beds. There is a third small bedroom with a childsbed. In the bedrooms you will find enough cabinetspace and a full length mirror. In the appartments you will find everything you need. Every appartment has central heating in all rooms. You will find a 32 inch flatscreen tv on which you can watch about 300 canals from any european language you can think of. We have added to this a hometheater system, so you have the full joy of watching 5.1 dolby dvd-movies or of listening to the music you like. From the appartment you have wireless acces to the internet. Most of the rooms are decorated with real paintings in bright colours which give the appartments a sense of Joy.

In the kitchen you will find an electric cooker, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher and a refrigirator plus extra smaller electric devices like coffeemachines and a water cooker etc. On your terrace you will find a gardentable with four comfortable chairs and a parasol. For the terrace we have put on outdoor lamps to illuminate the terrace by night. In front of the house you will find a parking place for your car.

From the house it is a one kilometre downhill walk to the centre of the city of Monschau. It is also possible to park your car at a reasonable price near the centre of the city.

The Green House, our Holiday Home, with three apartments with stunning views over the 'Rurtal' and the hills of the Eifel. (hetgroenehuismonschau) The apartments are fully equipped. All rooms of the fully insulated house are centrally heated. The living rooms, we have furnished with design furniture and equipped with 32 inch flat screen TVs. Most of the European channels can be received. Furthermore you will find a DVD player and free wireless internet access. In each of the tastefully decorated rooms you will find two comfortable beds, ample closet space and a full-length mirror. The kitchens are equipped with a stove, oven or microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The bathrooms are modern and comfortable. Outside each apartment you will find a four seater garden furniture. Outside the Green House there is ample parking.

A place like home ...

For us a holiday is already half successful if we have a pleasant, comfortable accommodations found in an attractive environment.

Are you looking for an affordable yet luxurious holiday in a truly foreign environment than the Green House in Monschau is an excellent option. Monschau is a historic town in the Ruhrtal, right in the Eifel mountains on the border of Germany and Belgium. The Eifel and the Hohe Venn are famous nature reserves. The area is renowned for nature, history, cultural events like the Classic Monschau week, wellness centers and cultural and historical centers like Aachen, Eupen, Maastricht and Trier.

“Lovely little hideaway”

Response from the owner We appreciate this review. Indeed, there is a fan in the apartment, but the house is very well isolated, so normally it shouldn't get to hot. The view is the reason why we bought the house and made this apartment in it, with large windows to give the best view. It is our most popular apartment in all seasons but the summer.
