We have a welcoming second floor, 723 sq. ft. one bedroom condiminium at the Kihei Kai Nani complex across the street from a beautiful beach, Kamaole II, in Kihei (300 paces to sand). Kamaole II is a beautiful golden sand beach (rated as one of the 15 best beaches on Maui by the well respected Maui Revealed), which is both long and wide and has a nice snorkeling reef at its end. It has a lifeguard during the day and is shallow, making it family friendly. A short walk away are Kamaole I and III and a well maintained pathway is available for walkers and joggers that will take you from one beach to another all the way down to beautiful and exclusive Wailea (a relaxing 2 mile shoreline walk). There are benches situatated along this pathway to allow for resting and Whale Watching during the December - March timeframe, when the Whales are frequently seen frolicking just off shore.

Kihei Kai Nani is located adjacent to a number of shops and restaurants, making it possible to stay here without the need for a rental car. The Maui bus stops by on S. Kihei road, just outside the complex, for non-walking distance outings.
The unit is fully furnished for you to enjoy your vacation in Maui. It has an ideal location in the complex with a garden and mountain view, giving it the advantage of privacy, so that you can sit quietly on the lanai and enjoy breakfast or read a book or simply enjoy hearing the birds. This is a corner unit which means that the Dining Area has an extra window as does the bedroom. The extra windows allow light in and a pleasant cross-breeze. The condo is a few steps away from the large freshwater pool and the main office and laundry facilities. The staff at Kihei Kai Nani is very helpful and will assist with informational needs.

Spent 2 weeks here and was not disappointed at all, it met all of our needs. The condo was very clean, kitchen we'll stocked, and most important was the bed was very comfortable. There was never any noise problems day or night. It's in a great location, short walk to lots of restaurants, gift shops, and. Of course the ice cream shop. Condo us also furnished with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and mats. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

“Relaxed, pleasant stay at Kihei”
- easily found condo complex on the main street - enjoyable pool next to the main office and laundry facilities - unit facing the backyard = vegetation & silence (as opposed to facing the pool or other units - condo complex directly in front of Kamaole II beach, i.e. clear view for sunset - lots of plaza around at a walking distance - resort-y location, but not too much as the West coast - owner responds on the spot (our camping did not look very safe, so we asked the owner if we could check in 2 days ahead of our stay, and she accommodated us very quickly) - condo equipped with everything needed for the beach: towels, mats, chairs, boogie board, parasol, fins, masks and tuba, even fish id card - ceiling fans powerful and silent enough that we didn't need to use the A/C - lots of hooks on the lanai to suspend wet stuff - "soothing" decoration a tad kitsch, i.e. perfect for a beach condo - best bed ever

“A Home away From Home”
We stayed in the 2nd floor unit. It's beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the comforts of home. We will come back and stay in this unit as often as we return to Maui. Everything you need for the beach is there, so don't use suitcase space to bring anything other than your swimsuit. The 2 weeks we were there, the trade winds weren't blowing - very unusual according to the locals. It made the unit very hot and humid without the aC. But the aC worked great, except in the bedroom. We only used the bedroom to sleep in, so it didn't ruin the charm and comfort of the unit. The location is perfect. I wouldn't stay anywhere but Kihei. We travelled all over the island, and while there are beautiful places all over Maui, Kihei is the best place to stay. Especially the area where the unit is located. It's on the edge of the beach condo neighborhood, with the resort and high end homes just to the south. The beaches are fantastic. All powder soft sand, including in the water. No need for water shoes as there are no rocks, except for the rocky area between the beaches to the north and south. The Kamaole II beach is large, so we never had any reason to go to either of the bordering beaches. From the condo to the airport clear on the other side of the island is maybe 14 miles-nothing. You do hear your neighbors though. The louvered windows throughout the complex doesn't make for a lot of privacy. You can hear your neighbors below and to the side and next to them. Though everyone is very courteous and respectful of everyone else, so it wasn't really a problem. We didn't have any children anywhere near during our stay, so depending on your attitude, it could end up being pretty noisy, or a joyful experience. Bottom line, we loved our stay on Maui, and our stay in the condo, and would live there full time (Maui & condo) if we could afford the lifestyle. You will not be disappointed, or wonder if another unit is better than this one - they just won't be.

Our stay in your condo at Kihei was absolutely great. Wonderful porch, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and convenient. Who could ask for more. So close to the beach and restaurants - a perfect place. Thank you for letting our family share it. I cannot think of a thing we didn't have!

We absolutely loved our Maui experience in this delightful, perfect condo across the street from one of the island's best swimming beaches. The condo was equipped with everything we possibly needed! Each morning we awakened to birds singing outside our bedroom window, with the softest bedding on the best bed on the planet. The pool outside our condo was wonderful, and I became addicted to the aloha gift shop next door. Warning: you will not want to go home! Be sure to say hello to James, the weekend parking lot attendant, who was one of a dozen angels we met in Maui that week. Aloha!

Dear Liz and Chuck, We have to tell you how happy we were with your condo in Kihei. Yours was very nicely decorated and higher quality. We looked at another condo that was having an open house, and your kitchen cabinets, flooring, etc., were so much nicer. The aC worked wonderfully, the location is great both where it is in Kihei and in the condo premises. It was well stocked with many more items than we anticipated. We did not use hardly anything, but it was nice knowing the items were there if we needed them. We liked the lock box idea as you don't have to worry about losing a key. Our only suggestion would be to have aC in the bedroom, but I guess with the kind of windows in there, it would be an expense. Thanks again so much, and we hope to stay in your condo again. We loved Maui!

Me and my wife stayed in this condo for 15 nights in May 2011 and had a great time! This is an ideal location, minutes to walk to the beach. Very nice accomodations, pool, great kitchen with everything you need to cook and save money. Very quiet, but close to the pool and laundry room. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are very well taken care of at all times. Great place to spend a week or two and it has a couple places right next door to eat or you can walk a couple blocks to shopping and several nice restuarants. Parking is great as well, and just a few feet from your front door. Great deal and nice owners! We have recommended to others and will come back again! If you are lucky enough to be there at the right time there is a banana tree by the front door and if you ask the yardman nice, he will give you some right off the tree! Thanks Liz!
“Fantastic Condo and Location”
This condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beach is very close (Right across the street!) and there are great restaurants for any meal within walking distance. Of course you certainly don't have to eat out as the kitchen has everything you need to store groceries and make meals.
Great condo in a quiet location with a private patio. We stayed there for 8 days and traveled the island by car. We snorkeled in the mornings at the place called "fish bowl,? which is located at the 2,000-acre ahihi-Kinau natural reserve. We traveled to the western part of Maui and hiked the acid War Zone trail near Mile Marker #38 (about 8 miles past Kapalua). At the end of the trail there is magnificent Nakalele Blowhole resulted from the ocean wearing away the shore below the lava shelf. We enjoyed surfing at the Ironwood beach near Kapalua and checked out a breathtaking creation of nature - "dragon teeth? located nearby. We went to a whale watching trip with the Pacific whale foundation and spotted seven Humpback whales doing blows, flukes, pec slaps and peduncle arcs. We cooked fresh fish daily as there is a grill and fully equipped kitchen in the condo.
