This is a wonderful 3 level private mountain home with views of beautiful Lake Tahoe, which is only 2 miles away. 2300 square feet of interior space with decks on all 3 floors, a POOL TABLE, and a PRIVATE HOT TUB on the bottom floor deck, from which you get a peek view of Lake Tahoe. This is a gorgeous freestanding private home in a private cul-de-sac on a forested mountain slope.
$45,000 in upgrades in October 2016: Trex type decking with hidden fasteners replacing the redwood that had nails. Brand new railing system with higher rails and cables that let in more views of the gorgeous surroundings.
More wildly expensive upgrades: Whole house automatic generator (no power outages during Winter storms); Gas fireplace replaced the pellet stove (cozy fire at the push of a button, no pellet hopper to fill). Automatically HEATED driveway - no shoveling, salt, or waiting for a snow removal service to make the rounds! Zoned AC!
The entry from the front door or garage opens to the middle floor, which is the main living area. The sectional couch sits before home theater with a 70 inch Visio LCD High Definition TV (connected to cable), stereo, surround sound speaker system with subwoofer, Playstation 3 gaming system (with Move controllers and lots of games) and blue ray DVD player (the PS3). The living area has a lovely stone hearth with a gas fireplace that provides a cozy fire at the push of a button.
The kitchen features updated granite counters, range, refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, bean grinder, coffeemaker, etc. - all the amenities for preparing gourmet meals. The dining area can seat at least eight (with the leaves of the table folded out). There is a half bath on this floor and access to the garage. The interior is decorated with a "Tahoe Lodge" theme. Very charming!
The biggest of the 3 outdoor decks is on the middle floor and is amazing for dining, lounging, sunbathing, stargazing, and enjoying the beautiful views. The middle deck has a picnic table and patio furniture in summer, and a Weber propane grill. There are filtered views of Lake Tahoe from the great room and the middle floor deck.
The huge master suite occupies the entire third floor and is very private.
It has a huge bedroom with queen bed. The private deck is accessed by a slider. Full bathroom with jetted tub / shower, separate his and hers sinks. Walk in closet. Enjoy some tunes from the Klipsch portable stereo unit for MP3 players such as Ipods and smartphones. Clever Trevor added a 43" smart high definition TV for streaming movies and other internet content (no cable on this TV). The best views of Lake Tahoe can be enjoyed from the entry of this room from the landing at the top of the stairs since it sits above most of the treetops.
The bottom floor features two bedrooms. "Hot tub" room has a California King bed, a 43 inch smart TV for watching movies or other internet provided content (not connected to cable) and its own wraparound private deck with our private hot tub and a peek of Lake Tahoe. The other bedroom room has a bunk bed with twin bed and lodgepole Queen bed (3 beds total in this room). Full bathroom on this floor. Laundry room with washer and dryer, ironing board, etc.
The bottom floor has a huge (approximately 20' x 20') 4th bedroom/game room/office/home theater and a POOL TABLE, 2 twin beds, couch, a desk in case you have a bit of work to do, wireless router for WIFI, stereo, 55 inch smart Roku 4k TV, (charter basic cable on Spectrum app), home theater setup and Nintendo Wii game system with fun games. I've also added an Xbox 360 with games and 3 controllers. This room is awesome for kids and family fun!
The house has charter basic cable service for the four TVs, and high speed cable internet with fast free WIFI. I have Netflix and Amazon prime that provide unlimited streaming high definition movies to all 4 high definition TVs in the house. The movies come in over the Charter high speed cable internet connection and the wireless router has 2 ethernet cables hard wired to the PS3 connected to the middle floor home theater and the Xbox 360 connected to the bottom floor home theater.
No stays less than 28 nights will be accepted or advertised after July 31, 2021, stays of 28 nights or longer will be considered after that date.
This is Owner Clever Trevor's home (except when he fights fires and travels), which means that you'll find a lot more than the usual basic supplies. Feel free to use whatever condiments, spices, and sundries that are here. Childcare services are available 24/7 at a facility in town. "Daisy Day Care Incline Village".
No smoking indoors or on decks. Designated, sheltered smoking area outside the bottom floor game room door.
This is a gorgeous house in an idyllic natural setting at the destination voted #1 in the US and you will make wonderful and lasting memories here!

We are away from any busy areas but only 3 miles to the beaches that only local residents and our guests have access to. There is so much to see and do around Lake Tahoe in every season, but I've also done a lot to make this home a vacation in itself. The setting among the Jeffrey Pines, the views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding forest, and things like the pool table, hot tub, 3 different video gaming systems, 4 large televisions with streaming movies, fast WIFI, etc. I look forward to welcoming you back for your next stay!

Response from the owner We are about 3 miles from the lake by car, closer to 2 miles as the crow flies. I enjoy the view of the water but I'm glad we are far enough away not to hear the roar of some of the larger boats. I'm very glad this guest enjoyed their stay and I am constantly making improvements to the home to enhance my guests' vacations.

I've continued to improve the home with all new decks and a new railing system that uses cables instead of 1 inch wooden balusters to let more of the wonderful views through, a whole house automatic gas fired generator to ensure uninterrupted power even in the heaviest winter storm, and I've replaced the pellet stove with a gas stove which is more reliable, doesn't need to be filled, emptied, or cleaned, and turns on and off with a remote control.
