“Great Getaway!”

Reviewed 28 Sep 2013

This was our first family vacation to Cape Cod. Kathleen the owner was extremely helpful through the whole reservation process and graciously provided us for emails before our arrival date filled with valuable information on attractions and local eateries. The cottage is very cute, clean, and on a wonderful deadend away from the street leading to the beach. It is dangerously close to Sundae School which we managed to visit almost every night. Some nights did get a little warm but there are plenty of fans to provide a nice breeze through the whole house. The outside shower was divine!! We also loved seating outside in the sun on the deck to eat all our meals! Thanks again for such a wonderful experience Kathleen!

Response from the owner We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you as our guests next summer! We also find the Sundae School a very tempting neighbor. Many family members also love to enjoy some great summertime ice cream treats there as well.

“Wonderful place to stay”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2013

My husband and I stayed the first week in Sept. We have stayed there before and will go back again. The house is very clean and I am a bit of a freak when it comes to cleanliness. One other reason is that it is within walking distance of so many things-family pizza and restaurant, famous Sundae School ice cream parlor, fruit and veg stand, beaches etc. Also, it is in Dennis which is in the middle of Cape Cod, so that it is a great starting point for so many Cape towns and places of interest. You can go West to Hyannis in a short time, or East to Provincetown or the national seashore.

“Delightful rental!”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2013

My sister, my two grown children and I spent the first week in September at the cottage. From the time I booked until we left for the Cape, Kathleen was so helpful and full of information. The cottage was quaint and homey and provided everything we needed. We used it as a base and spent the week touring the cape. Our cottage neighbors turned out to be a couple who had once owned a home around the corner and they were so pleasant and full of information about the area. We truly had a wonderful time.

Response from the owner Eileen and family .........We were happy to host you all and so very glad that you enjoyed your first visit to Cape Cod. All of our guests love our Mid-Cape location for touring. We would be thrilled to have you return anytime!

“Lovely cottage in a beautiful place”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2013

We stayed there for a week in august 2013, two adults and two teenagers, and enjoyed it very much. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The additional outside shower was really great. The beach is a bit far away to walk every day but less than two minutes in the car. Dennisport is a lovely little town with nice shops, supermarkets etc. Free wifi at the local library is a plus.

Response from the owner Marco and family ...Thank you for your review! We are so glad to hear that your family enjoyed your your time on the Cape and the cottage met all of your needs. We loved to see that you would like to return and we welcome you back anytime!!

“Excellent cottage and service”

Reviewed 21 Aug 2013

We very much liked this well-located cottage as well as the excellent service. Thank you Kathleen for all the information available in the cottage which helped us to quickly become familiar with the area! One week was not enough time and we hope to come again soon.

Response from the owner It was a pleasure to have you stay with us and we would welcome you back anytime. So glad that you were happy with your choice of cottages.

“Columbus Day Weeked Girls Get-Away”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2012

We had a great time! The lists of positives are endless. 1. Short walk to the beach 2. Great bedroom set up we each had our own bed. (4 twins two bedrooms) 3. Nice beach decor, clean, has all the basics 4. Close to restaurants and shopping 5. Friendly neighbors The owner, Kathleen, went out of her way to make certain all bases were covered before our stay began. Just perfect! The Girls from "Western Mass" Thank you Kathleen!!!

Response from the owner We also enjoyed having you as our guests just as much as you enjoyed your stay. We would love to have you return. All the best! ......Kathleen

“Perfect Girl's Weekend away cottage”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2012

We had a hard time finding a place where we would not be sharing beds, or using pull-out couches-which are never comfortable. The before stay contact was wonderful, we felt very welcomed and directions were spot on. The cottage is decorated very tastefully, and comfortable to stay in. The 4 twin beds worked out perfectly-though it ended up being only 3 of us. There was a slight musty smell which you would expect from a cottage being shut up-we opened the windows and enjoyed the weather. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the heater and getting it to stay on. I would suggest directions for that if you are renting in the off-season. Also there were no lobster crackers-which would be lovely for a lobster dinner. The location was peaceful and quiet, we walked to the beach several times. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Response from the owner Hello Dawn and Friends - So glad that you all enjoyed your weekend getaway and that you evidently enjoyed your time at the cottage as well as indicated by your 5 star review. As we spoke our lobster tools must have "walked away" and ...... yes the cottage was closed for several days but we usually do not have any odors at all. Glad it dissipated quickly.

“A cosy cottage to relax and enjoy all Cape Cod has to offer”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2012

We had a fantastic holiday here. We spent two weeks at this cosy cottage. Although basic it had everything we wanted or needed. It was in a great location just a short walk to the beach and almost next door to Sundae School for great ice creams. There were 3 restaurants in walking distance and many more just a short drive away. If we ever return to Cape Cod (which we would love to do) would very happily stay at this lovely cottage again.

“Just Right !!”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2012

We arrived to a clean and fresh smelling cottage. (I detest cottages that have a musty smell that is common at the beach.) The cottage was like "comfort food" for the soul because it mentally brought me back to the pleasant memories of many childhood Cape Cod summer vacations. The decor was a serene coastal blue and lived up to the photos that we found online. It seemed to easily meet our needs. It was fully equipped with lots of kitchen items, games, crayons, beach toys for the young kids and beach gear for the adultsr, . But best of all was the outdoor shower. Cant be on the Cape in summer without an outdoor shower. The owner was attentive and very informative. We would stay here again.

“Our Cape Code Vacation”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2012

Our time in Dennisport always passes too quickly. This was our second year staying here at the cottage on County Circle. As in the past, we found the cottage clean and welcoming and perfect spot for our family vacation. We had great weather and enjoyed our time here and hope to return again. Thank you for sharing your Cape Cod cottage with us.
